@nurnberg: desperate is a bit of a pejorative term, but yes. Just like any other start-up, Indie developers are taking a big risk and referencing a known concept could help attract potential customers.
@restatbonfire: It's a launch exclusive ("Play first on PlayStation"); not a console exclusive. Does that really upset you that more people can play the game than just PS4 owners?
@Eddie619: Switch has a handful of AAA, PS4 has a handful more than Xbox. I think you are confusing "games" with exclusives. They are different. Perhaps troll less and read a book because you are not so bright.

@lonesamurai1: With no caveats? how many games have had crappy ports on PC in the last several years? (Batman, Watchdogs, etc.) Or the delay? (FFXV is what a year old?)
I don't keep track of PC games, but I know there are more that fall under both.
Simple fact is, consoles' get the most love from developers. Gaming on PC comes with the caveat that you get crappy ports and have to wait longer.
@mightythor2000: Dark Souls 3 can be bought used on Amazon for $15. Then I can sell back my used game.
PC people love to say games are more expensive, but the truth is that they are only more expensive if you buy new and/or don't resell the disc.
New games can be bought on Amazon for 15% off (brand new/pre-order) and if you beat it quickly then you can resell for $30, so you spend about $20 on a new release.
It's true that Xbox Live / PS Now cost money, but I'll pay for that (never at full price) and avoid all the cheating on Steam (looking at you PUBG).
