@wtf_666: I kind of doubt they are working on a Kinect 3.0 because of the hate Kinect 2.0 got, but I would be thrilled if it was true. I love using the connect for commands, Skype, etc.

@kyelo: buy used disc on console, sell back disc. Will cost you $15 to play a new release. Not a huge PC win there.

@RS13: I've only kind of looked into putting together a PC (I.e. I have a profile on pcpartpicker), so I don't know a whole lot.

I just thought that it was odd that everyone names all the big parts (cpu, gpu, ram, pcu, case), but leaves out the little, but still necessary, parts (audio card, Ethernet adapter, os, etc.).

No hate here. Just think the pc crowd shouldn't overlook those parts too when they proclaim how cheap you can build a rig. Another $200 is a large chunk of the cost of a console.

@RS13: except you forgot O.S., wifi/Ethernet, keyboard and mouse, audio, monitor (could use a t.v. I guess, but really?)

I am not against your suggestion, though. I just don't think it was such a grave mistake of the authors to warrant such harsh criticism from you.

@runstalker: While your right that it would be more accurate to make those changes, what you ignore is the fact that Xbox cross play with Windows Store is a feature unique to Xbox at the moment. So making it that specific is unnecessary. I, and I'm sure many others, knew exactly what they meant. Perhaps you did not, but from reading the article, I'm guess you would have learned the details. And the body of an article is always where you find the details. So if the headline interested you, you should always read the details to find out what exactly is being wrote about. Basing decisions on headlines is foolish.
