Hello all, I'm having more than a bit of trouble installing PC games, I'm spending days at a time trying to get them running and I'm thinking something somewhere or a combination of things are causing me problems. Is there a program I can run or something that will inform me if things that I need that are missing from my computer like .net framework, drivers etc. Thanks

Edit, sorry about the spelling in the title, my dog trod on me as I was posting!

Hello could someone help me install Batman Arkham Asylum please, I seem to be having no luck installing PC games. I'm running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64 bit, my system is well above the minimum requirements and I just don't know what to do.

When I run the installer it just says that the Picture of Batman comes up and when I click install game it says the specified file was not found?...

Thanks

I've done it! For anyone who experiences this problem, the solution for me was the update of Windows 7 to the Service Pack 1 and to ignore the options on the wizard. I found when I double checked the updates that the first time I tried to install service pack 1 the update had failed. But even after this when I ran the wizard (by lauching the 63kb item on the disc) I still only had the two options, one to go back and re enter the instalation information or two to press cancel and abort the instalton. I chose a third option and clicked next anyway, yesterday wiout the service pack installed this did not work, but once the service pack was installed, everything went fine. I hope this works for anyone else that experiences this problem.

Thank you, I will give that a go now. Yesterday I thought I had it cracked when I could get the installer to run by manually double clicking the 63kb file on the disc. Someone else on the Borderlands forum found that that worked for them. But it just froze at 33 minutes left. Then explorer stoped responding.

I already use CCleaner and regularly fix any problems with the registry but thanks for the suggestion, I had neglected it for a while and there were a few errors found. I was up to date on my updates other than I had previously decided to hold off on the service pack, I have it installed now though. With the Borderlands DVD my computer wont even shut down?...

I put the Windows 7 instalation CD in and ran the repair option, there were a few errors that's why I installed the service pack.

What a waste of a weekend!

The drive was quite full so I tried installing it on another one. It still said the same options though. I pressed next anyway and the error I get no is this.

Error 1721. There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Please help.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

What I really want though is EVERY game to be available on the PC, why the F not!. And for every one of them to fully utilize phsyx, and for them to be optimized for the PC, including every level of DX, and a bright shiny Lamborghini and Kelly Brooke and....am I off topic yet?...
