dont mean a thing, sony still the official champions. Role with the champ.
And so far, the exclusives (only comparing Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 here) are better on the Xbox 360. It's hard to believe how well Microsoft is doing. Or is it how terrible Sony is performing?

What??!! for you maybe, sony still the champ worldwide.
dont think so...he is right, in two years MS has taken more marketshare than anyone anticipated, 10 million consoles in 2 years is still very good.
Uhhh....not really.....
The Xbox sold 25 million in 5 years. That's an average of 5 million per year. The 360's sales rate only averages out to slightly above 6 million per year. And I don't think anyone would call the Xbox (or GameCube) a sales success.
I was talking about the 360 and the next gen consoles market as it is know. X360 marketshare is much bigger than that of Sony, making it the prefered machine for developers right now. Something that belonged to sony for many years.
Compared to its predecesor, the 360 has sold faster than the xbox1 at the time. In almost 2 years. Taking in mind that xbox1 was the first system from a company that only made software, it did sale very well. This shows that with the 360 they have made a VERY big progress.
I don't disagree that the 360 is a huge step forward for Microsoft, but speaking from the industry's frame of reference, it's still selling below par. And the Dreamcast sold 10 million units in its first year, too. (Of course, the PS2 sold a hell of a lot better in its first year than the PS3 did, which contributed to the Dreamcast's demise; ain't no console gonna be intimidated to death by the PS3's sales.)
also the dreamcats only sold near 2 million, its whol life time
it sold more then 10 million buddy
