Enough! Xbox 360 performs 1 Teraflop total processing power, while PS3 does over twice that. Look at every single spec sheet in existance on the web.

If Microsoft pays Kojima a large sum of money, similar to what they have done with Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and every other formarly PS3 exclusive, I'm sure they'd get MGS4 on 360, even if it took 20 discs. MS's most recent payment was Rockband to have 2-month 360 exclusivity, and they also attempted to pay to have 2 months of RE5 exclusivity.

Sony needs to learn how to pointlessly pay people for exclusivity, because that's whats making MS succeed on the gaming front. If sony doesn't start now, then I don't care whether its the PS3, PS4, or PS10, they'll fail.

A brand new IP having nothing to do with the Xbox 360 (or at least not exclusive to it). ;)

No seriously its possible. MS bought them, had them make the halo games, and right after Halo 3 basically said "watever, we have your Halo IP, and since theres no more halo games, we're dropping you." they have a right to be mad about it.

Don't get me wrong, im not a fanboy, im just wondering why MS words things so vaguely sometimes (except to try and get them more business). Not just at the E3 conf, but other times as well.

For example, all my friends now think Rock Band 2 is 360 exclusive, which it isn't. PS3's RB2 is coming in the Nov/Dec timeframe, while 360's is in September. But people think wrong because MS just said "360 exclusive in September 08".

Also, when they talk about "Why 360 is the number one choice for consumers", they listed games like Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, and some other game, but they were all multiplatform games with the exception of their Halo 3. Later on they listed COD5, NFS: Undercover, and some sports games as if they were 360 exclusive.

Does anyone else think that this is stupid, misleading and just adds to the fanboy fire?

And im not saying sony and nintendo aren't guilty of it either, because they do it as well, just not as much as MS.

I shall rundown everything MS did:

Fable 2: cool

Fallout 3: meh....

RE5: looks cool, but very similar to RE4, hope there's new features...

GOW2: everyones jaws drop to floor

removing the dashboard: mixed reactions, it wouldve been better without the next thing:

avatars: complete ripoff of mii's, not fitting for a hardcore console

Viva Pinata: pretty cool, except they copied off PS3's "The Eye of Judgement" with using the Vision camera to scan cards to spawn things in gameplay

Lips: almost exact same thing as PS3's SingStar

Banjo kazooie: cool

new movie content: okay, but they were vague as to whether or not we need to pay for Netflix memberships to use their services

I also think MS is going to lose a lot of money on Arcade games because from what it sounded like, you could play an arcade game or video/movie with ur party, even if they didnt own it. prepare to see people start hosting a sort of thing where you add them as friends and all a user does is show one movie, and people can join in and watch it with them, sort of like an online movie theater, for free.

I also look forward to people posting their short movies with that "I'm in the movies" game or whatever its called, onto youtube. it kinda looked entertaining.

So kinda mixed reactions for me. Final Fantasy you could see coming the moment they announced that Square Enix guy was coming on stage, and the new guy who is in place of Peter Moore (i forget the new guys name) is really corny and he needs to improve his speaking skills.

so, thats my opinion.

As you may know, MGS4 has much better graphics and antialiasing than pretty much any 360 game I've ever seen (there may be like 1 360 game that is better, but its not halo, Gears of War is pretty on-par with MGS4 though).

The game proves what the PS3 is capable of graphically as a console. PS3, just because it has a "more outdated graphics chipset" does not mean it cannot look amazing. I am not blaming 360 fanboys for saying that the PS3 has bad graphics, im more blaming the PC fanboys who think the PS3 is just as powerful as the PS2 was (literally, some people have actually said this to me).

Here's a good chance for me to take a poll:

Yeah, i just saw something online that says Xbox 360 has like 4 times the amount of 80/100 or higher Metacritic-scoring games as the PS3. But I will probably wait a bit and see if E3 or some other thing has Microsoft yelling price cut for me, because if that happens i'd basically hop right into my car and drive to best buy and get one.

I can wait and be patient, GOW2 is not til fall (I think) and I am still planning on getting Metal Gear Solid 4 and playing it through.. unless it "pulls a Haze". Thats my new phrase. Use it freely ;)

are you guys referencing that stupid 1UP preview? As far as im concerned, thats one of the worst previews of a game i've ever seen. Every bit of feedback i've seen so far from anyone has been between amazement, raving, just saying its amazing. Even GameSpot, which is one of the most 360-biased sources I've seen, previewed KZ2 and said it was looking extremely impressive. So 1UP doesn't know what they're doing.

Their magazine EGM is a joke too, I wasted a bunch of money subscribing to it. dont subscribe to it.
