TC if you have so much trouble playing FPS games on PS3 why dont you switch to Split Fish Frag FX ?

As for me,i have always loved FPS games.So far played RFOM,Condemned blood shot,Darkness and COD4 never had any problem with Dual Shock 3.Infact i am starting to get used to the analog sticks more than a mouse.Waiting for FC2 and i am gonna buy it on my PS3 rather than my gaming rig.

This is basically a format war.Sony has armed every one with the weapons(blu ray drives) and now all they are left to do in the near future is supply everyone the bullets(blu rays).

But how many playstation franchises have been lost to the 360 or pc?

grand theft auto

final fantasy

these franchises are huge. you'd never see a halo or gears on playstation.

sony is no longer the sheriff in town.

Yes true we never see Halo or Gears going to PS.But didnt we see Bioshock,saints row...etc..etc ? and alot more ? The titles you have mentioned are not published by sony.And btw Halo and Gears isnt even exclusive to the 360.

Typical fanboy talking nonsenses there isn't even AA on the ps3 version :lol: the low resolution and post processing effect gives the ilussion of AA which is not existent there,do your researches before claiming nonsenses and i have proof to back up my claims ;).

Typical Xbox fan.You got it the other way around.The PS3 version has much more noticeable AA than the 360 version.About the resolution,people can tell the difference from 10 feet away.So it really doesnt matter :).

okay i have a ps3 and i wanted to know i i should buy a 360 becuase gears of war looks so good. and will i get one and only play one or should they be about even. and the arcade version can it only play arcade games are what because i want one stritcly for gaming becuase ps3 is alerady set up with eveything

and is the arcade only play dume games and is it hd compatible becuase went and bought the best tv and surround this last christmas that they had and thank nothng new hasnt came out and what model is hd compatible

Exactly same case here.Have enough $$ for arcade but i guess will upgrade my pc rather than purchasing the 360 for one single game.

The PS3 has 2 pools of Ram. 256 for Memory and 256 for graphics. However the PS3 can pull ram from the memory pool and use it in graphics. Hence using what ever it needs.

Thats what i have been trying to say.Both consoles are equal in terms of graphics/processing power.What can be done on 360 can be done on the PS3 and vice versa.
