Actually most of the retialers have refused to send it for a recall to sony.So in other words if someone sues or something as usual.They cant blame sony.Sony/media molecule are OFFICIALLY out of this.

hackers HAVe actually cracked into the firmware but they have not yet managed to get piracy on PS3.Reson is that one blu ray costs nearly 40$.And there are very less blue ray writables.Also with the PS3 firmware update you would be easily caught.Some games dont even boot without updates.
