And you have a 50/50 chance that your xbox gets RROD and youre done with it.But with PS3 you dont have to worry at all !

After watching Farcry 2 video the graphics do seem pretty impressive, but honsetly anyone who thinks it looks better then Crysis needs to get their eyes checked. The ammount of stuff on screen vs farcry isn't even comparable. Farcry also has a dull brown color scheme which will actually make things better then how they really look similar to games like KZ2 and Gears. It will be a good looking game but overall the visuals aren't comparable.bigblunt537

It has been confirmed by devs that Dunia engine is using ALL that Cryengine 2 was using.And there are even more things added to it.Example:Growing vegetation,day night cycles,big square miles of land fully accesible,advance AI(The enemy actually goes to have lunch...etc..etc..),repair broken vehicles,heal your self,fully destructable enviroments(not just TREES but also buildings,leaves...etc..etc),fire propagation,leaves fully dynamic,leaves react to fire/air/water/weather and everything else in the world,Procedural skies,Dynamic weather system(That means everything will react to the weather),Dynamic light and shadows(btw did crysis have dynamic shadows ? i think it was soft shadowing)....Ofcourse the other features which crysis was showing of when it came out,features like depth of field,DX10 water effects,motion blurr...etc..etc...Are all not only added to the game but look alot more imrpoved from the videos.

If you want to see what type of game this will be go play Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain is made by the same people but HR started out as a tec demo. Heavy Rain will be a movie first, a game second, this will be what they wanted to do with Indigo but didnt have the hardware to do it.

Indigo had a very good story but later in the game it started to fall apart, the gameplay was rhythm timed button presses or certain analog movement, mixed with button mashing at times. Read the review if you have not played the game and want to know more about the direction HR is heading.

STOP IT with this power of the PS3...blah blah blah. Heavy Rain looks good but its still scripted, MGS 4 looks good too and when it goes cinematic you get the same graphics if not better and with that being said XBOX 360'S MASS EFFECT does it just as good if not better.

So stop with all the HYPE because this is what causes games to fail, because it or no game can live up to every body's hype, GTA 4 is a example people thought it would be the 2nd coming of Jesus and it delivered but people still wasn't happy.

Far Cry 2 is downgraded for the consoles. And Crysis is run on a HORRIBLY inefficient engine. Crytek themselves say Crysis can't be done on consoles.pyromaniac223

Well I dont think its down graded.Can you please be more specific.I heard earlier in some interview that only the resolution was decreased.Heres an interview that i found earlier.

LP: Yes. Part of the goal was not to merely convert Far Cry to Xbox 360 and PS3, the goal was to port the engine at the beginning, because we knew that our ambitions were so high. They used our data to push themselves then one day they came to us and said you've really got to see this and we saw what they'd accomplished and we thought, man, it's running, it works.

So we pushed it with certain tests to make sure we had something solid because to be honest, Far Cry 1 was a super popular, super high quality shooter and then Far Cry Instincts came out on console, and it had good ratings, but a lot of people felt it changed the brand, Ubisoft didn't necessarily do the right things on the console side. So we were skeptical about having to come out with a console game that we had to change from the original PC game. We wanted to make sure that if we came out on console, it had to be the same game, it needs to be triple A quality, it needs to use the same data, to have the same story - and we've been able to achieve that. It's extremely high quality it's going to become the new benchmark for console games. I'm extremely confident about that!

Yes but only without a hard disk,Blu ray,built in wifi and alot more.I think PS3 is on a very reasonable price.The library,if not better or equal it isnt that bad.

Do you need a hard drive, blu-ray player, and built in wi-fi to play games? No. Multiplats play the exact same on the 360 and PS3, and it's half the price.

Yes you need all three of them to make gaming A LOT better.Games coming in the very near future will take full advantage of HDD and Blurays.Living proof is Little big planet.Which sadly cant be done on the 360 because of less space.GTA IV had less frame rate issues on Ps3 compared to 360.Lesser loading times of oblivion on the PS3.

More space=More contents=better games.And i will be willing to pay 400$ ALONE FOR ONLY A DRIVE(BDrom)WHICH CAN PLAY 200GB DISC on it.Discs which are the size of a normal Cd/DVD.
