Lol...Amazon numbers mean nothing..."best sellers"...NOTHING has been sold...also no one is required to put ANY money down on the consoles yet...all I see is Playstation and Microsoft employees trying to out do each other in making phony accounts and "pre ordering".
@JayQproductions @jts1891 A DoS attack(Denial of Service) could last 5 minutes to as long as people keep on attacking the network...until people get bored.
Step 1. Wait at least one week before updating firmware.
Step 2. Have console plugged into APC backup incase of power failure.
Step 3. Unplug usb devices...remove any discs from tray...sometimes I will turn of my PC so no media servers are connecting.
Step 4. Update Via USB after downloading firware through wired connection to PC.
Step 5. After update restart PS3.
Step 6. Restart PS3 again.
Step 7. Put a disc in and play it for 2 minutes then restart PS3 again.
So there you have it...this is how I pretty much update my ps3 every time now...there are many different reasons on why I update this way but Sony has pretty much forced me too...I would recommend that at the very least you should update via usb NOT wifi and remove the disc before installing firmware.
@xhawk27 I have never had a problem with my disc games in over 15 years...maybe stop using them as coasters...I know some games should be used as coasters tho....
