@blaznwiipspman1: we'll see, I'd say Sony has bigger competition from Nintendo for Square than MS.

@blaznwiipspman1: Gamers like me that don't suffer from game ADHD and will spend a month or two on a single game are not going to be swayed much by Game Pass. I completed my set with an OLED in Dec (along with a nice PC rig), most of my time has been spent on PS. Mostly because XBox hasn't offered as many games I'm into (to be fair, I'm still going thru last gen games in which did not own an XBox One) and I'm not overly impressed by the upcoming schedule either, Stalker 2 and Starfield are the only ones I can think of. Totally get the CoD argument, and while MS may now claim their #1, they don't for the next nine (I think, I could be wrong on a couple). Sony should be able to lock down Square and if they go after and acquire Take-Two, locking up GTA, most of the "ponys" will be content. The ones that aren't will be like us where they have every system under the sun anyway.

@olddadgamer: honestly, it's the same difference as far as this is concerned, they wouldn't buy them if they couldn't sell them.

@gunsblazing777: Maybe, but anyone who has played MMOs can attest, console players are often at a disadvantage due to all the third party tools PC players can add to enhance their game.

@dancol1986: MS is still about $5B/y in sales behind Sony with this acquisition, they leapfrogged Nintendo and Tencent, but it'll take a couple more studios to catch Sony.
