@illegal_peanut: Honestly, I'm not sure Nintendo cares, their in house games drive much of their profit already. I think Nintendo sees its future in mobile gaming, Take-Two's acquisition of Zynga might have put them on their radar. Sony almost has to push for Square at this point and logic would dictate they look very seriously at EA, Ubisoft and Take-Two to name a few.

@Sound_Demon: For starters my pronouns are it and it, secondly, money talks, being "inclusive" is far more profitable than not "selling out." Each generation eventually learns, often to their surprise, when all the cool things in life are no longer marketed to them because their money no longer drives the bottom line.

It'll be interesting to see how the two studios still ahead of MS respond. Tencent has made a lot of money while partnering with Activision and Sony is an obvious direct competitor, something like this demands action.

The last season wasn't as good as the previous seasons, it was rushed and it felt like a lot was left out, but it wasn't as bad as many folks pretend it to be either. I get tired of being contrarian on this topic, but it wasn't hot garbage and the vitriol gets worse as time passes and folks remember less and less about what happened and only recall they are supposed to complain. The ranking for the seasons should look something like 9, 9, 10, 10, 9, 10, 8, 6.

More than anything, they really needed to work on Dany's turn, they kept it subtle for far too long and she should have been on the edge of batshit by the end of season 7. Instead, her turn came on suddenly for most viewers and given that she was among the show's "heroes" for most of the run, her "quick" turn as an unrepentant villain was jarring. The clues were there, but the audience wasn't watching for clues, they were watching for someone to take down Cersei. Since we didn't get that, and really, we didn't get a lot of satisfactory endings with our favorite characters, there is plenty of room for criticism, but the kneejerk responses are often vapid and meaningless, just fishing for likes.

And yes, feel free to tell me I'm wrong, but you're never going to convince me season 8 was a one or two-star season. It was middling, uninspiring, and did not rise to the level of the previous seasons, but it was not trash.

@stealthatbase: I don't care how powerful the phone/tablet is, it's still tiny af compared to my PC monitors and TV.

@thecupidstunts: meh, I really enjoyed GotG, but six days after getting it I was Platinum done, and will be done forever because there is nothing new to gain from it. I don't feel like I got my money's worth and honestly wished I had waited for it to hit bargain bins.

I'm not too worried about the storyline, Fallout can take place pretty much anywhere as long as it hits the end of the world beats the games do, what will be harder to pull off is the look. Fallout has a very specific style with the pips and retro callbacks, it'll be difficult to make that look natural and not come off as cheesy.
