@jcnba28 Or Christians could move somewhere else. The United States is not a Christian nation. We are are secular nation with no national religion. If you don't like that, you should move to a Christian theocracy. Maybe Vatician City? Don't really care where, but your beliefs don't have any business being involved in our laws.
@juboner @Thomasdeleo Are you a time traveler? What's it like to come from an era with no toothpaste or deodorant? Smells pretty bad I bet. Still, you probably get to wear capes around without getting made fun of, so that's a plus!
@DenverNick @m4a5 It doesn't. A lot of Christians in the US operate under the belief that we are a Christian theocracy. They aren't fully aware that we are a secular nation with laws protecting freedom of religion for all religions. They interpret freedom of religion as meaning that they can insert their viewpoints into civil law and they spend millions of dollars attempting to do so. I guess there must not be any more poor people in the world if Christians can fling that kind of money at state and federal laws that are entirely separate from their religion.
@ray_pl @lorenzoa88 @whalesex @Suikogaiden Are you sure about that? Have you actually studied history? Same sex marriages have existed throughout history. Why don't you at least do a wikipedia search first. It wasn't until the rise of Christianity that you see same-sex unions disappearing. Marriage existed way before Christianity, in case you weren't aware.
