@pedro_correia I would imagine they took if off the fox engine because it couldn't handle the action in the way Platinum wanted to do it. It might look worse but if it plays better than I would say its a trade worth making.
@Hatemcahinemike I think because it was all so new then. Many of the boss fights in later games still fall short of the ingenuity of MSG's bosses. Especially Psycho Mantis which is still one of the most clever and cool boss fights of all time I would say. Also, story wise, there was nothing restricting them when they made the new game. But now there is so much back story that they are almost stuck writing specific things. And of course, you also have to consider nostalgia.
@Devils-DIVISION Your right, I meant don't buy the next game. Sorry for the confusion. However, I think my point still stands. If you don't like the games a company makes (for whatever reason) then just don't buy them.
"So, if I buy a soda, and I don't like the taste, and neither does everyone else, and we all complain about it, does that also mean that the company that produces that soda should simply ignore those protests and leave the taste the same, even if it means losing customers and income? Because, essentially, it's the same thing here." Then don't buy it and the company will change on it's own or fail. If people think Bioware makes crappy endings to their games then people should stop buying them.
If mlg wants to be mainstream they need find a way to follow there broadcast schedule and not leave "be back soon" signs on the stream for 30 minutes plus (when its not there lunch break). As it is now, you have to commit an entire weekend to see the games you want.
