Ok some people like to game on the PC but it is in the minority compared to console
Jesus you peasants just keep giving! XD
There is almost as many PUBG owners on PC as there are Xbox Ones that have been sold in general.
if true it’s all thanks to China.
Congrats on being China.
2, never pretended I didn’t
Prove I have the same account as that other guy. Have a mod interject.
P.S. You were also @m3dude1, https://www.gamespot.com/profile/m3dude1/. Three accounts to agree with yourself because your opinions conflict with recorded data.
ill acknowledge you this one time
Yes. We know.
You need to pay more for the superior product. Welcome to the Planet Earth.
A good PC is no longer slightly more expensive than a console due to Cryptocurrency, temporarily. But spend some more, and end up with an objectively superior system that plays the better version of over 90% of video games each gen, has exponentially more AAA/AA titles each gen, and has by far the best online and features. You get what you pay for. You simply have to pay more for PC, as it is the superior gaming experience.
Don’t be a peasant join the 4K HDR Master Race
20-30 fps and worse gfx settings though. Night and Day. The option with better gfx and performance in over 90% of titles (PC, Digital Foundry stats) is objectively the correct choice in this matter.
PC continues it's winning streak into this 5th gen.
Sure you pay a lot more for a few more pixels and frames. Keep getting price gauged by Nvidia and AMD you suckers. LOL
Don’t even ackknowledge “Tryit” or “Zaryia“, It’s the same person, and the Hermkid likes to talk shit while gaming on a GTX 670.
Until it posts proof of its PC, ignore it

This guy really wants to defend his POS $500 box hooked to a $10,000 home theater system.
I'm a bit jealous of that sub-woofer though. But, I think a PC would drive it better overall tbh.
The receiver, driver the receiver better overall.
And I disagree, which is fine.
more games with Atmos
more games with HDR
Atmos/HDR/4K movies/shows

It affects every game on PC.
Much like Windows Sonic, it emulates surround sound through headphones, which affects every single game and application.
Lmao not every game has Atmos
I didn't say every game had Atmos. Enabling Atmos in windows does change how everything sounds, though. It doesn't use the per object manipulation, but in my case, my headphones are much louder with atmos enabled. Louder sounds are also toned down, and I can hear voices clearer. You really have a tough time reading, don't you?
This guy also confirms that enabling it upmixes, but is not as good as native support.
https://www.techradar.com/news/audio/dolby-atmos-a-step-by-step-guide-to-the-premature-speaker-tech-1305066
"Dolby has recently launched the Dolby Access app on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs that upmixes stereo and 5.1 surround mixes to Dolby Atmos. The app is free to try and available to own for $14.99. Upmixed content never quite sounds as good as native Atmos, but hey, $15 is a whole lot cheaper than a brand-new soundbar or receiver, that's for sure."
Like i said it's upmixed and not nearly equivalent to true Dolby Atmos, or DTS-X (No DTS-X in Games yet)
Atmos for Headphones and Windows Sonic is psuedo 3D audio. In a way Atmos for Headphones and Windows Sonic (Theres also DTS-Headphone X) is actually a level lower than DTS Neural X, and Dolby Digital Pro Logic IIz, at least with DTS Neural X, and Dolby Digital Pro Logic IIz its not faking the presence of the height speakers, with Neural X and IIz sounds are calculated when to send to the actual height speakers. With Atmos for headphones and windows sonic those height speakers arent really there.
let me break this down for you
DTS- Neural X: No Height sounds/effects are encoded into the media, so it calculates when to send height presence sounds to the height presence speakers
Dolby Digital Pro Logic IIz: Same as above
Dolby Atmos for Headphones: No height is encoded into media, it calculates when to send height presence sound effects to speakers that are not really there.
Windows Sonic: Same as Dolby Atmos for Headphones
Dolby Atmos: Height Presence Sound Effects are encoded into the media, Height Pressence Sound Effects are played by actual Height Speakers above your head
DTS-X: Same as Dolby Atmos
My receiver comes with Cinema DSP HD3, which means if i dont have the height (presence) speakers, it can calculate when to send sound effects to Virtual Presence Speakers, and fake the height sound effects from any source. All this can be done by simply Opening my Yamaha app, clicking on "DSP" in my app, and clicking on "Enhanced". WHen no height/pressence speakers are installed this would be the equivalent to Atmos for Headphones and WIndows Sonic
If i have the Height Presence Speakers it can take any source, calculate, and upmix when to send to those Height Presence Speakers, (same instructions as above) but again this is not the same as DTS-X or Atmos because with DTS-X or Atmos, it's not calculating when to send the sound effects to the height speakers, the height sound effects are encoded into the media.
In the video below you can see the height speakers light up on my receiver when i switch to "Enhanced" mode, on Witcher 3, but in "Straight Mode" the Height/Pressence Speakers are not displayed, thats because there is no Height/Pressence Encoded into the Audio.
When I switch to Gears of War, Atmos lights up when Im on "Straight" mode, and the height speakers light up as well. That's because theres height pressence sound effects encoded into the game.
"Straight" Mode is Direct/Unaltered on my Receiver.
Don’t you have a notebook? No 1440p, Ultra, 100+ FPS for you
Yes I do. How much do you want to bet?
Minimum vs Minimum
no you don’t, get wrecked
Comparing performance in terms of "minimum vs minimum" is such an abstraction from what performance actually means to any reasonable person in a typical scenario. It's not unreasonable that if a game's averaging 99.3 FPS in a benchmark that you're getting over 100 FPS most of the time in actual gameplay. The only other thing that matters is if the game stutters. No one cares about anything other than what they're getting "most of the time" unless it's for the sake of some retarded SW argument.
If I’m getting 99 FPS Average and 72 minimum(1%) FPS, and 54 FPS minimum (.1%) I would frame cap the game to 72 FPS especially with a 144hz LCD, even if it’s 120-144 Gsync I would still cap to 72.
so in this case it’s best to compare 1440p @ 72 FPS (GTX 1080 Ti) vs 4k @ 30 FPS (X1X)
lol games dont have to support Atmos to use it ..... Atmos for headphones creates a virtual surround sound environment in real-time....... As it creates the virtual surround as it adds a height to the sounds as well.
lol headphone Atmos Thru 2 Speakers
fake atmos
There’s 60 FPS Native 4K Ultra,
Variable Refresh Rates are coming.
HDR is better
Atmos is better
pc is the downgrade on my setup
OLED vs LCD I think this site is a joke but you think its reputable, so I'll post crap from it.
a PC is the last thing I would hook up to a OLED. OLEDs are still too problematic with static images.
4K Ultra 60 FPS
Best HDR Support
Best Atmos Support
HDR/4K TV/Movies
Lol I win again, this is too easy
Wow, I have that with my PC too. Don't know why "Ultra" is in there tho. I'm not missing out on HDR/Atmos games I have 0 interest in playing either.
He should have stated that Atmos affects every game in some way. It changes your entire audio setup. PC has it, too. He also forgot to mention that.
It even affects PUBG Battlegrounds. I know, I've tried it with windows Sonic vs Atmos. Of course, I've heard it's different for every set of headphones. Not sure on the speaker part since I don't meet the requirements for that, but headphones are better for pinpoint accuracy in FPS games over speakers, anyway.
Not every game has Atmos, not even on Xbox
