Super Mario Galaxy, 852x480 at 60fps

Halo 3, 1152x640 at 30fps

chansaet

corrected, Mario Glaxay is widescreen you know and runs at 60FPS

1024x768 Plasmas are also widescreen, although 1024x768 resolution is really fullscreen.

Wii Games are neither 852x480 or 640x480, they are 720x480.

Super Mario Galaxy, 640x480 at30fps

Halo 3, 1152x640 at 30fps

GarchomPro

Galaxy runs at 60 FPS

Halo 3 runs at 60 FPS also, my mistake.

Halo 3 runs at 30 fps in 640p

1152x640 is over 100% more pixels than 640x480. And Halo 3 has top notch HDR

360 setup: 40in Samsung 71F series w. 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, component cables, XBox 360 Premium, XBL Subscription, 700watt Sony 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound System
PC Setup: Components in signature. 22in Samsung SyncMaster 226 BW, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones

In previous comparisions, I found that Bioshock for the PC and 360 was pretty much identical, however due to superb sound in the game I ended up playing it on the 360. Simply because I had a better surround sound system on my home theatre. However, the bottom line was, I felt the 'best' was subjective based on the setup a person had.

m3Boarder32

Why didn't you just connect your PC to the HDTV and 5.1 Surround for Bioshock? You could have experienced the great EAX effects that some PC gamers rave about here.

Which Sony Surroud Sound System is it?

Care to answer my question Rimnet?

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"]I guess Gamespot has lost all credibility as well :|Vandalvideo

Yes they have, because is a survival horror game, not some midnless action adventure game. Silent Hill's combat can hardly qualify as action to begin with. The next Silent Hill maybe, but Silent Hill is less action and more running for your dear life.

Survival Horror is just a sub-genre of Action-Adventure.

IGN, Gamespot, and Gamerankings all have it listed as action-adventure.

Only a basket case would qualify Silent Hill as an action adventure game in the wings of God of War, Uncharted, and Ninja Gaiden. Theres very little action involved in Silent Hill, if you can even call it that. ANYONE who has played Silent Hill would agree with me, its not some action adventure game. Period.

Your opinion does not overwrite the opinion of IGN, Gamerankings, and Gamespot. Thanks for playing tho

The second you called Silent HIll an action adventure game you lost all credibility.

I guess Gamespot has lost all credibility as well :|

[QUOTE="lowe0"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"]Having 25 people in one house all with their own PC's and enjoying a rousing tournament of Counter-Strike: Priceless.DragonfireXZ95

And if your friends don't have PCs? Buying a few extra controllers is a lot cheaper than several PCs.

But that only suits 4 people, what happens when you get more than 4 together? hmm, I think I found the flaw in your argument.

It's alot easier to haul around 360's for a LAN party than it is to haul around PC's.
