The PC is the better platform.

Errors and crashes are outrageously exaggurated.

Price is also exaggurated. Although not as cheap as any one single console, you get what you pay for.

It has more functionality, capability and customization than consoles.

Its online is better, its graphics are better, its controls are better.

It has user generated content unlike anything seen on a console.

An unlimited amount of applications to use both in conjuction with, and outside of, games.

Bottom line: It does far, far more than just play games. And when you do play games on it, it does that better too.

If you want to complain about the price, then go ahead. But as I said before, you get what you pay for.

And before anyone brings it up, I'm aware that it doesn't have some of the franchises you love, and I'm not debating whether its games are better, I'm only talking about the platform itself.

Bebi_vegeta

Your bottom line for why PC Gaming is better is because you can do things with a PC that has nothing to do with gaming?

Um, he said it can play games better. did you miss that second part?

PC can have slightly better visuals, Consoles (PS3) can have better audio. :)

Did he just wrote better audio!?!?!?! LOL! Nice one... please explain.

And you actually learn to use a computer and troubleshoot software!

Troubleshooting makes PC gaming better ::shock::D

better then geting the ring of death and being dependable on microsoft to "fix" the probleme.

I actually find it kind of fun to trouble shoot

"PC Gaming, where troubleshooting is half the fun "

The challenge of getting games to run on a PC teaches kids IT skills. Plus its not like high power PC users are getting all riled up by this thread anyway. They just LOL quietly to themselves.elmoXPXP

My favorite genres are Sports, Action, Action-Adventure, Platformers, and Shooters.

No need for a gaming PC when i don't care about RTS and expansion packs.
