Ok, i had a question regarding wheteher my TV is HD or not. When I plug it to my 360(im using this as a example), it has component ports in the back, and I switch it to the different resolutions in the settings, I see a Picture. If I can see a Picture, does that mean its HD? thanks. black_awpN1

yeah blu-ray is one of the reasions why they ar expensive. cus a blu-ray player cost $1000 so u get ps3 and dvd,blu-ray,folding@home kit for only $600 and tere other features9thwardice

Tigerdirect.com has a Bluray player for $469 brand new. 

built in blu-ray is also the reason why sony is winning this format wars, that article from the HD-DVD camp was pretty lame saying that they sold 100k and blu-ray didn't but they haven't counted ps3s as blu-ray players,they haven't counted the HD-DVD add on for 360 either but it sold only 10k

anyway there are 3mil blu-ray players at peoples homes and only 120k HD-DVD players max.

Microsoft (or Toshiba dont remember) announced 40K HD-DVD Drives have been sold at CES 2007...That was in January... 

BD Drive cost Sony $125 at Launch

RSX GPU cost Sony $129 at Launch

Cell cost Sony $90 at Launch

Apples and oranges. HD and superior audio can be warranted when watching a 2 hour movie. Not so much when you need 5 minutes of whacking material.
