I have a antec 900 case , the only problem i have is the amount of dust it collects on the front and side grill..

Is it just the room im in ? or is it a general antec 900 issue ?

I remember a while back with ATI Xfire you were able to use a 4870 + a 4850 at the same time. Is it possible to get say a 4870 and a 5770 combined? using the 5570 as my main card? i know ones dx 10.1 and the other dx 11. any clue?

JetB1ackNewYear

im pretty sure u cant , it has to be from the same Series of cards . For a 4870 you can only use a card from the 4000 series to Xfire

Alrighty people , my friend decided NOT to buy a DELL ( i told him not to do that nonsense ) and decided to build a new pc .

He will use it for Gaming / Video converting (alrdy have a external HDD for storage ) / Web Browsing / Chatting

For some reason he really doesnt want a AMD cpu ( i think he had a bad experience with his old pc )

He will be needing everything , from top to bottom except Speakers.

My cousin and i will put the parts together , so we can shop at www.newegg.ca

Budget : 1400$ ( including shipping from newegg )

[QUOTE="mafioso456"][QUOTE="samuraiguns"]

My favorite is the HD 5770's

There are others;

  • HD 4850
  • HD 4870
  • HD 4890 (ehhhhh)
  • HD 5850
  • GTX 260
  • GTX 275

rest to me don't satisfy my price/performance.

samuraiguns
May i know why the "eeehhhhhhh" for the 4890 ?

It is in the higher tier for the 4000 series and when you usually get that high you are looking into the 5000 series next. So it doesn't make sense to Crossfire.

So a crossfired 4890 is compared to what 5000 series card if its done ?
