I am a bit into the game but pissed of Duty and I have to kill tons of people just to get to Barkeep, so I posted and they said I should get Complete 2009 to bribe factions. Can I install it part-way throught the game or do I have to restart?

socomusnavy

nope, do not recommend that course of action, for you need to start a new game. You can try, but there will be crashes and broken quests. Now get out of here stalker and reinstalll the game with the complete mod and begin a new game. Trust me, it's worth it.

Oh and..............GET OUT OF HERE STALKER!

Too late.

Daytona_178

What, Like DX11 would change anyone's opinion of the game. It still the most graphically impressive game of all time.

witcher 2 says hi, crysis 1 says hi too.

Honestly, all I see when I play Farcry 2 is wasted potential. I spend most of my time cursing malaria and jeeps while unjamming s*** weapons rather then having any fun. raven_squad

[QUOTE="cooloutac"] I agree its not happening. but at least thank god its not dx9. on my machine, dx9 games are blurrier and micro stutter. its like having an hd tv...which displays non hd channels more poorly then regular old crt's.... the hd tv is meant for hd videos.cooloutac

Funny, When two worlds 2 came out, I remember the forums going crazy and buzzing about ways to turn off the excessive blur.

yoru talking about motion blurr... which is advertised as a feature. in the witcher 2. motion blurr happens everytime you move the camera/look around. in 2w2 it only happens when you run really fast. but when wakling or running at medium speed, like witcher 2 speed. everything looks HD. thats not what i mean though your getting it confused. I'm saying crysis 2 looks dx9 blurry as well. I'm saying dx9 just looks blurrier period... I'm talking about the whole game period.

I agree, crysis 2 is very inconsistent. SO MUCH UNECESSARY BLOOM!Oh yeah, something about two worlds 2 I find a bit annoying is the inventory system, it's not bad, it's just a tad bit clunky. How did you find it?

[QUOTE="cooloutac"] what? haha wrong..... they mean linear as opposed to open world. specifically stating... both those sites stating "its not open world" which is a total lie. as i said. its more open world then oblivion.

explain to me why they would state 2w2 is not open world? go ahead and read the review on this site dude... its deplorable.

cooloutac

paste a link to the review that says so or a quote. Then we can talk. If not *shrug*

i can't find them saying the enviornment, OR the plot is linear now haha. neither are... but i swear when 2w2 first came out thats what i read everywhere. even in the commnets by other people which was baffling. but when i got the game i was pleasantly surprised its more open world then oblvion.

either way more realistic looking enviornement and character models and a fully open 3d world. are what I look for in an rpg. everything else is just hype.

to each his own I guess. Two world 2 is a great game, I only wished the plot had more to it. But I hope you stop going around slamming the witcher 2 with half truths and so on. Witcher 2 and two worlds 2 are great games with flaws of their own. Simple.

*sigh*...i was talking about the support patch for DX 11. As I said, in the previous post, the game itself does not use any dx 11 stuff. With the patch, it will probably have improved textures or something, but nothing along the lines of tesselation.

Or better yet, check out this post for pics:

Dude that an article from 2010...Its been a year since then...and 2W2 is already at version 1.2...and still no dx11 in sight...iam on Two Worlds 2 official forum every week...and everyone there have abandoned their hopes for dx11...there will be no dx11 patch...and even if they will realease it...it will be 2 late...

[QUOTE="cooloutac"] well then explain to me how all those review sites claim 2w2 is linear. when its more open world then oblivion? case closed....my friend....cooloutac

Linear in plot and story progression man. that's what they mean. In the witcher 2, your decisions shapes the flow of the game, the plot spreads out like branches, while two worlds 2's plot follows a straight path, hence the linear labeling. Two worlds 2's strength lies in giving the player freedom to explore a huge world, the plot is what ties it in place. The witcher 2's strength lies in telling a story and giving the player choices in how the narrative plays out. Both games are different in what they try to achieve

[QUOTE="cooloutac"] seriously dude? of course i'm serious......the cartoonish character models in tw2 look like an old console game to me. Maybe its because all i look at is the gameplay... and i don't care how good the cinematic cut scenes look. lmao.... I'm an even bigger critic of the bioware games..... i come from an old pc background. and I want a fully playable full 3d enviornment. cut scenes are non existent to me lol. and this game def does not look good enough to run so poorly on so many peoples machines. in my opinion the models and textures are recyled. and all they did is add more AA.

I didn't have to read anything but play the games to know which game is dx10 and which is not....

cooloutac

oh please, we can here say we've been playing rpgs all the way from realms of arkania to Baldur's gate 2 to wizardry 8. My point is you've yet to give a VALID point regarding the witcher 2. Saying it's got cartoony models and look like and old console game only proves my point

that you're either stirring things up for the laugh or you truly just love two worlds to madness. No one can take you seriously when you say "witcher 2 looks like an old console game", that's just plain denial.

and from your other thread where you completely stated, that regarding the withcer 2, "sites like gamespot and IGN are totally biased liars......they get paid under the table no doubt."

Really? cd projokt paid ign?

Really?

I get that you love two worlds and all, and I dont blame you, I like the game as well, but enough with false slamming of the witcher 2. I run the game on ultra without uber sampling on and my game is buttery smooth (nvidia). Obviosly the game's got issues with ati card (so I've heard), but stop labeling two world 2 as a flawless game. It's not.

It was well recieved on pc but not crtical acclaim as the witcher 2. get over it man

joke thread?

Two worlds 2's got better graphics? :|

Not sure if serious, and nice copy pasting too, just saw your other post in a thread I made, and so not sure if serious

Witcher 2 is noted for being the most beautiful rpg in years, and yes I've played and maxed out 2w2. So much low res textures in that game. get serious man.
