Imo, if it isn't around 20 dollars its not worth it. The mp supposdly is dead, and sp is lack luster

[QUOTE="lowe0"] I'm well aware of what mods do. I'm simply not interested is all. Yet another example of ascribing one's preference to ignorance instead of actually asking why. But oh, that would the master race to entertain the idea of conversing with a peasant. That simply won't do.lowe0

i'm sure the root of their misunderstanding is why you would say no to things that make the game better objectively, such as community bug fix patches (a commonality across all bethesda games unfortunately), high res texture packs, better normal maps, etc. Also, just the option of having mods and a modding community.

But to each his own; I don't have to understand to accept.

Oh, I don't deny that the option is a good thing; I'm happy that people who wish to modify their games can do so. I'm just not interested. The developer went to a lot of trouble to get the game right; I don't want to start mucking about with that and end up making things worse.

Huh?

It was announced for the Wii and PC too, but they probably never started working on it. The developers have no experience on PC. The game will not sell well on consoles, and it would sell even less on PC.GeneralShowzer

man you really love the game of thrones. On topic, yeah, game should have been on pc

Its a ridiculously demanding game. Even if you're just above the requirements and you put everything on low expect to get around 30 frames. Makes you wonder how it'll run on consoles. biggest_loser

probably cut back a lot of effects and graphical bells that we take for granted

[QUOTE="FelipeInside"] So just because you do can run it fine (using strong hardware) that AUTOMATICALLY means the rest of the planet won't have any issues? Go read some posts both here and the official site with all the people having performance issues before commenting. They improved it heaps with the patch but it still need optimization work.FelipeInside

sorry man, but I run witcher 2 with no issues on an oced GTX 460, 6gb ram and an i7 920. As long as ubersampling is off, any modern rig can run the game pretty well. The game is well optimized for modern hardware, anything else and it's just your rig screwing with ya man (or your friends).

Big fan of yours btw, read some of yer posts before. But I gotta disagree with you on this one.

:D

Mine runs it fine.... I'm on Q6600 with GTX470 and 8GB RAM.... My friend has an i7 and a GTX580 and has issues. My other friend also issues with an i5 and a strong RADEON. Yet ANOTHER friend (lol) has just a slow Quad Core and can run it fine. I'm not saying it's a GTA4 job, but it isn't PERFECTLY optimized. Perfectly optimized is something like AC: Brotherhood or Crysis 2. Saying that...the patch did a HUGE improvement to the performance and I'm sure with further patches, Projekt will get it running PERFECTLY.

I guesss. Like all pc games, there will be issues somewhere.

this is funny. If a gamer can't run a game well then the excuse" yeah, it's badly optimized". What a load of crap, the witcher 2 is is well optimized for pc with decent hardware. So stop the false crap.

I agree. Game runs perfectly fine with my setup, even with Uber-Sampling turned on the game is highly playable. Its just a demanding game. Deal with it.

yeah, crysis 1 had some pretty unique designs and ideas for the aliens. Freeze rays and flying squids. And for some forsaken reason, they ditched all that. What happened to psycho? to nomad? to everyone?

Crysis 2 was a good game, but nothing cmpared to the first one.
