So my spring semester ends next week, and i will have some extra money from selling my textbooks back. Some of this will be going towards important stuff but im at least saving $50-60 for videogame stuff ( so at least 1 new game). I have alot of choices though and i cant completly decide so id like you guys to help me out. Here are the choices

1. New super mario bros wii
2. Hold on to the cash for Super mario galaxy 2
3. Red steel 2
4. Madworld ( found for only $10) + GTA DS+ an old gameboy game i wanted ( i live near a store that sells old games)
5. GTA DS+ Bioshock 1

Its alot to think about especially on replay value. This is becauseifi dontfind a new job, i probably wont be getting any games for a looong time. Thank you.

So with all this pokemon news coming ive been playing the games again latly. Its been a while since ive played cause i only buy one every generation ( last new pokemon game i got was diamond). So first up i have been replaying emerald just so i can catch a latias and transfer it into my diamond which has 487/493 pokemon. NOW for the 5th generation, i think it would be really cool to have some kind of team attacks. Back in the 3rd generation, the team battling was introduced where 2 pokemon could be sent out at once. I have this idea where sending out two of the same type can have a super attack. For example: two water pokemon would have an attack called Tidal Wave, Two bug would have one called Locust, For dark... black hole, for fire....eruption you get the idea. To balance things out it would cost both pokemons turns but in return be extremly powerful. Ive had this idea on my mind alot, i thought id share it with you readers. thanks for reading.

Spring break turned out NOTHING like i expected. 2 fridays ago my mom had to go to the hospital so ive been most of my spring break keeping the house clean and doing jobs i wouldnt normally do ( like laundry). Anyone whos curious what kind of sickness my mom had, it was some kind of virus that had her cells attacking her own body and it damaged her legs. I did have a little fun though. I did some bikeriding, hung out with my best friend Jake T at gameworks and chilli's( hes been theresince 4th grade), and i beat megaman 10 on easy and normal.Thats about it....my moms home from the hospital so now i must go take care of her. C ya.

Man does time sure pass by, its already been like 2 weeks since my last blog. A few good things have been happenning: a certian someone is single again, ive done well on all my midterms, my spring break starts tommorow, and ive downloaded 2 new games with a retro style.

First up is the 8 bit megaman 10. Im probably as not megaman-ed out as everyone else cause i hear alot of people saying " its just another megaman game", but its more of the same fun megaman. Its also a little easier than 9, and i love the new challenge mode they added. I know there were challenges in 9 but this time its a bit different. There are the main 13 ( like clear the game, and make it through a level without taking damage) but nows theres 100 little challenges that are like tiny levels to clear. I also love the robot masters in this game ( even sheep man lol) plus the weapons have better variety and even upgrade some of the older ones ( for example your sheild weapon behaves a bit differently this time).

The second one is perfect dark on xbox live. This is the latest rare game to be re-released and its good. Unlike the banjo kazooie games, i never played the n64 version so i dont know how faithful the remake is. Like many shooters im sure multiplayer is the reason to play this but i dont have gold right now so ill be sticking to the campaign. Ive noticed older shooters arent nearly as linear as today's modern shooters. The levels have been maze like which can take out some of the fun but it gets better as your progress ( or if you replay a mission) One cool thing i like is that when you change the difficulty, it doesnt just make the AI harder, it actually changes your mission objectives. Ive only had this for a day so far but i am having alot of fun.

So another metroid other m trailer came out. IT looks great but one thing id like to say is it feels so weird to hear that much dialogue coming from a Nintendo character. Think about it, most Nintendo characters just have phrases like " lets a go" or just make random sounds ( like link when he swings his sword). They chose a good voice for samus and now its permanently in my head.

So first a few game updates. I download lost winds 2 finally for wiiware and i simply adore the game. Its a clever puzzle platformer using the element of wind and it definitly surpases its predecessor. Only problem is its kinda short ( even for wiiware standards). I 100% the game in 3 hours but those 3 hours were straight up awesome. Ive also downloaded LOZ: a link to the past, completed COD:MW2 on veteran, and I'm considering downloading some of the AC2 DLC since im going to have extra points ( looks like perfect dark is only gonna cost 800 when its released).

Now for the personal stuff. On valentines day ihung out witha friend to cheer her up ( since she was lonly). So for about of week we talked and she thanked me for some things i did for her ( brought her a fewflowers)thinking i was real sweet and then after that i find her deleting me from her contact lists ( email, myspace, facebook, etc). So what? shes only gonna talk to me when she needs something from me from now on?I dont like that one bit.

I didnt realize that lent started today. Feels so soon. Anyways on to the straight forward question. What are you giving up for lent? I chose to give up facebook cause its taking to much of my time although im not starting this till tommorow making me a day late.

Ive been sitting around with today off from school and i just realized this month has a crazy amount of holidays. 1st theres my birthday ( a holiday for me that is) and that was february 1st ( im now 19), then groundhog day right after that, now today which is lincoln's birthday which game me the day off, sunday is valentines day, monday is presidents day, not to mention the whole month is black history month, and finally once every 4 years we get the extra leap year day. Its just a thought.

In other news its sad to see all theres studios getting fired ( Redoctane was a shocker), some decent stuff shown at x10 ( including a perfect dark hdtrailer) and i just 5 stared all the DJ hero songs on hard.
