Yup, i like megatons too. I remmeber watching SOny's E3 press conference where they revealed all those BS PS3 CGi trailers and we all thought they were realtime. the excitement was short lived but it was an awesome spectacle!

rragnaar

That conference was why I made a GS account way back five years ago. That Killzone 2 BS trailer blew my mind, and I needed to get online to talk about it.

Heyy, I did the exact same thing... except I went a bit of a different route :P

Anyways, I'm nervous about this new Itagaki game. Even though I am a fan of DOA (a bit ofr NG as well), I feel like there may be a chance this might not appeal to me. How would I know this? Just a gut feeling.

Hear any news about Game Room titles?

Legolas_Katarn
I don't think so. But I haven't been following it :P
^Ahh, well I don't have an HD tv, but on SD it looks much much better. And to say SNK bosses are tough is a HUGE understatement. They're usually brain aneurysm tough. Blood vessel popping tough. Brain exploding tough. jks22112
That's where the "cheap" comes in.

I didn't even realize there was an EWJ remix in the works. Pretty cool of them, I just might get it, but I think I'd be more comfortable with a Dual Shock controller in this case. I don't play too many XBL arcade games, but the 360 controller doesn't seem well suited to 2D games in my opinion.
Just as a warning, the arcade mode boss is a "SNK Boss", in case that wasn't obvious. I mean, wow._Dez_

I'm just curious, what does "SNK Boss" mean anyway? I never played the SNK series myself, so I'm going to take it as a really difficult boss, right?

As some people would say, "tough and cheap"... Hmm, I could use that for something >__> :P

I have Neo Geo Battle coliseum for the PS2, thought it was a pretty good fighting game, but it looked pretty awful, or sometimes good..just mismatched. Apparently they've smoothed the sprites and I think added a few characters? I'm gonna check it out soon, probably will get it when I can. jks22112
Even though the sprites look a tad blurry (for HD scaling I suppose), It's all so clear and sharp. It really benefited from the upgrade.

Two great titles out today on Xbox Live Arcade, one anticipated cIassic, and one surprise gem.

_____

ej

Earthworm Jim HD

ba

NeoGeo Battle Coliseum

If you've played the demos (or if you've already bought it) post your impressions!

Personally, this is both great and bad news :( I was hoping to just buy Earthworm Jim HD, but being blindsided by NeoGeo BC (which I was previously planning to buy on the PS2), I NEED to get both!

The Nuevo Paradiso missions were starting to drag for a bit, but now things are starting to finally pick up again.spoiler_Dez_

You know it really irks me about that throwing knife...
and how the stealth element only works in that mission. The AI was configured differently just to fit that one part. So whenever I use the throwing knife on someone in a random case, no matter what, someone manages to witness the crime. Even if I'm indoors (closed and secure, with no view in or out) with just the victim inside, there's someone outside running for help.
I just want to stealth kill :(

Though there is one way during nighttime, by selecting the hunting knife and instant killing someone in their sleep. The funniest part is the context button even works on those you're not supposed to kill like a friend or whatever. The aim reticule doesn't allow me to shoot them, but I can easily slit their throat :P
Its a movie, from a blog: UPDATE 2: Cat's out of the bag. This is for the movie, and it comes from the mind of genius fight choreographer Larnell Stovall. He's the guy who did the fights for the excellent Undisputed 3: Redemption, on DVD and Blu-Ray right now. I hope that this movie gets made with Larnell plotting the punches, because this guy isn't just a geek like us, he's also got an incredible skill and ambition to create the next generation of fight choreography.

Okay, so use of the MK name with liberties for some sweet fight sequences? ._______. Wait, then what's with the 3D models of musclehead Sub-Zero? He's gonna be in CG? Oh gawd, or worse. Urban Mortal Kombat: The Movie: The Game.
