The Corsair 750W is cheaper.

And why not go with the Asus HD4870 ? 30$ MIR, smart doctor to control the fan speed, and a free game.

If you have another video card put it in to see if the monitor displays something.

HD4850 system requirements (scroll down).

Now open your case, look at your power supply, note the info on a paper and come back here and post them.

HD4870, but the HD4850 has a better price/performance ratio. I got my 4850 for 150$ CDN.

You have to look at benchmarks when comparing an ATI card to an Nvidia card, not their specs.

The HD4850 is cheaper and faster than the 9800GTX XXX (except in Crysis where it loses by 2.3 fps). Proof

Hmm, Im in Canada btw, and getting it from NCIXHelbrec

You missed by a day their special on the Diamond hd4850 that was selling for 150$ no mail-in-rebate with a free copy of GRID. They had a 100 and it was sold out in less than 24 hours. Check back again next week. At first I wanted an Asus for the 3 year warranty and the fan control software, but they don't have much in stock so the price is high. Diamond has only 1 year warranty but at 150$ I couldn't resist.

In your experience, does better cable management help in dropping temps? Because I might have to redo all the wires and cables for better airflow. Elann2008

Yes it helps. Use zipties. Too many wires on that Corsair 750TX psu. ;)
