You're already using the ****** adapter. There should be an option to choose which wireless adapter to use, since you have 2.

lol

So is wireless set on your router ?

If it is, enter the Control Panel, then click on Network Connections, then Wireless Connection.
Add a wireless connection, enter the same info from your wireless (network name, security mode and key).

From what i've heard, the first batch of HD48xx cards are BBA (Built by Ati). The only difference between them are the stickers. It's only in mid-july or end of july that we'll see cards built by Ati's partners. I know that Sapphire has a 2 year warranty on their cards. But I don't know if it's hard to get an RMA or not from them.

There's a workaround to raise the fan speed of the HD4870, until it can be done in Rivatuner or Ati Tray Tools.

No, you don't need a floppy drive.

Other than that, I think you're good to go. Nice build by the way.

A single HD4870 is 85-90% of the performance of the GTX 280 and sometimes even beats it. If you want links just let me know.

So yeah two HD4870 in CF beat a 280 hands down.

For the GPU and RAM, I'm just wondering on the brand.

Frantz22

For the GPU, you did well in choosing the Asus brand. It's now 165$ including the MIR. Use the software that comes with it to control the fan speed, you won't need to buy an aftermarket cooler. Read the comments on newegg, some people have their card's temp at 45-50 C idle and 60 C on load.
