Yep, I'm perfectly happy with my $1500 laptop I got last Summer. It can still run almost everything on max (Supreme Commander only exception I've run across.) But I would reccomend Dell. Get the XPS line if you are looking to upgrade in the future, but be aware that a nice one will run you upwards of $2500. Or you could just wait for a deal on their Inspiron line (there was a 33% off deal going on as well as my 12% college disount.) I don't thing that the XPS line gets any deals like that. Ha, you are already going into your defense mechanism of 'insults' and it's only the second page. That's very impressive. You know that people might have an ounce of respect for you if you admit that just because you never heard of PC monitors being referred to as being in HD that they never were.
...okay....so PC = HD but because the term was coined for T.V. it can't be applied to the PC? That is exactly what you are arguing and it's making my head hurt. I'm sorry, but there is no patent on using the description 'HD'.

Okay...Ultimately, HD=anything with 720+ lines vertically of pixels.
My display has 1200 pixels vertically, hence, it is HD.
My family's 5 year old monitor has 1024x768 (I think) resolution. How is that not Ultimately HD?
I think we have one of those people here that can't grasp that their 'thoughts' might be wrong. If you prove him wrong, he will just say that you are wrong and he is right. He just Cannot accept that there are other valid viewpoints that other people can have. Eh, just give him a few years, he might turn around.
