I realise a lot of you arent in Australia, but i am, so im posting this for all the other Aussies here :)

Australia is getting dedicated servers, in an online shooter, FINALLY.

The best one i ever had was in Cod 4. This guy who i smashed messaged me and told me he was going to kill me IRL. So i sent back a message with just "HAHAHAHAHAHA, your awesome man, how are you going to kill me then eh?" then he proceeded to tell me, over 7 or 8 messages, that he was coming to my town with his dad... who was the leader of some notorious Bikey Gang which i had never heard of (and i study gangs and serial killers in my spare time) and that he and his dad and all the bikey gang would kill me in my sleep...

So i sent back. "Im pretty sure that if you told your dad... whos the leader of a bikey gang.. that you wanted him and his friends to bash and kill some dude, because he beat you in an online videogame... then he would probably bash you for being such a wimp". And i didnt hear back from him :)

That is one of only 2-3 angry messages i have ever received, and i play online games a lot, my win streak on cod4 is like.. 79 maps in a row, so i dont think its as bad as people make it out to be on the psn..

As it stands now, Australia has had 3 reasonably high profile games banned, or content from them.

Fallout 3 - Australia actually changed the game for the rest of the world on this one, the drugs you originally took to regain health was morphine (i think, im recalling this from memory) Australia didnt like this, and banned the game, Bethesda then renamed that drug to Stimpak's in order to get a worldwide release.

GTA4 - The only difference in this game is the camera angle when you pick up a prostitute (apparently)

and for some STUPID reason... dark sector... because you could "cut people in half"... (this game was later released in Australia with no changes as far as i can tell)

These are the only 3 games that have been banned (from PS3) that i know about in the past 2 years or so, there was also that strip poker game.. but that was stupid...

The reason Australia reviews games lie this, is that we do not have an R18+ rating like we do with movies. The higest rating we have is MA15+ so if the boad considers a game, too violent for the 15-18 age bracket, then they are likely to ban it.....

Stupid... but that the law.

Thats true, we could always import, but the fact remains we should friggin HAVE to import......

We have an R Rating for movies....

Makes me mad, it really does.....

If this was to happen, i would seriously... just..... Whinge about it for weeks and weeks

Hey, still havent been updated into the leaderboard, im level 11 with over 700 trophies..

In my company i can now get a mouse and keyboard dongle. It plugs into the usb port on the front of your ps3, and ANY usb mouse and keyboard can plug into it. So my Razer set could pwn some dudes on COD on the PS3! im yet to order one in and test it, but ill be sure to chuck up a review when im done

This controller looks ok, but the weak dpad really puts me off.

i think the point is, if your going to use cheats.. then your not really achieving anthing, so you dont deserve trophies. So if you want to use cheats, then you wont get trophies. Thats just the way it is *shrugs*

Personally id prefer the trophies, ill use cheats the second time around :)
