I'm pretty sure Portal was basically Valve testing the waters to see if people buy in to the gameplay style, and if people dig it or not. Now that it is evident that the majority of people are in love with Portal, I think Valve got the cue. Apparently they are working on more Challenge Maps, and [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER] obviously Portal is going to be integrated in to HL3 after the ending of Ep2...

There was also word from Kim Swift that they may do a more full-length Portal title, which would be nice :)

Kids are the worst though, 14 and under. They should make asetting on the 360 whereyou cant use the voice chat until your at least 16.

Make that 17, to match the limit for M rated games. I'd say 18, or even 19 but that's just me.

The worst community for me is Halo 2 and Gears of War. They're both terrible. I hate people who talk like 50 Cent, I hate little kids, I hate texans, and I hate George Bush fans or Bible Preachers. Seriously, have any of you played a game with one of those people who tries to preach the Bible to everyone? what the hell is up with that? Complete disregard for everyone else in the room, we'll tell him, we're atheists, jews, muslims, or hell even already christian's but they don't listen! ugh.

Regardless, the best community online is both Forza and Rainbow Six Vegas. They're both mature, helpful communities. I am in the Underground Zone, so at the same time everyone is man enough to take a verbal beating. Also, Undergound = no little kids because they all join "Pro" because they all think that they're "Pro Gamers".

Now this is most likely true but remember every publication gives its own GOTY award out. So one magazine like EGM might award GOTY to Halo 3, while IGN might award GOTY to Mass Effect. So I do think that BioShock will win GOTY, but so will every other one of those games.

It comes down to this: what is your GOTY? Because really, that's all that matters.

Can't live with the fact? Halo is seriously over hyped/over rated by some people. I'm not saying it's a bad game but people make it seem a lot better than it actually is, and no where near one of the best games ever like some people say.

The second one looks terrible in comparison. Lower resolution texture (shrunken UVs on the mapping), UV distortion, and lower poly topologgy coupled with an uglier normal map. and the reflection (environment map) doesnt mean anything, the first one had one too, it just had nothing to reflect back because it wasn't in the game world.
