I personally enjoyed this 1.7 Update but even if it disappointed me, I'd take a couple of disappointing store updates over a company who is so uncertain in their product as to release a newer version just 18 months after launch. I'd take that to be an ominous sign too.

I agree the elite is an example of either Sony's supremacy or MS's greed, and I have stated many times that it will probably in all honesty be a bit of a failure, if not a large one. Still, the Elite only means that the 20GB version will become cheaper.....lol, jk, good point, you got me there.

Now, of course, if the rumors of an enhanced PS3 coming out are true, then I'll jump right into the "Sony...I am not happy AT ALL!" boat with you.

The other systems lacked signature titles until around the one year mark too.

Again, other systems, ones that aren't released midway into a console war! PS3 was positioned by Sony to be released late, they needed to release it with steam, where the competition is, not lagging 1.5 years behind thinking it's brand new....all these delays make it worse....

Who said money was an issue?

I purchased a PS3 because it was the system I wanted.

I purchased a $6 HDMI cable because it was the cable I wanted.

In the end, my system outputs the same gorgeous graphics as yours does.

And that's all that counts.
