i'm convinced that this thread is a joke and the guy who made it is yucking it up at his computer.

i don't see this as bad for the console, really.  i'd rather see a wide variety of games (including "kiddie" games) than just seeing action game after action game after action game.  it makes for a better console.

also, to the first poster, i see you said that PS3 owners will use this against the 360.  who cares?  fanboys ftl.

i haven't played it in awhile, but i don't imagine that it's changed too much.  unless they've all moved over to another game.

also, the barrens in WoW are terrible.

i'm going to say go with gears a well, but halo 2 is by no means a bad game.  it's awesome to sit around with a bunch of friends and just do deeathmatch and stuff.  so if you don't have much extra cash on hand, i'd pick up halo 2 sometime

but yeah, if you have to choose, i'd say go with gears.
