Actually it would be kinda funny if they did show it at the end, and Master Chief was a woman all along, a la the First Metroid.

I've been waiting until the end of the semester here to buy an Xbox 360, and I just ordered it.  The semester isn't over yet, but I planned it so it should be at my house by the time I get home, so I don't have to sit around waiting.

So, yeah, now that I'm a 360 owner, I fully expect all of you to welcome me with open arms.  Maybe even a foot rub.

I would say Contra, but the movie would be so manly that everyone who even drove past the theatre would grow chest hair and drive to the woods to kill a bear with their bare hands and snap a redwood in two with their face.

eventually there would be no animals or trees left (people would move on to lesser animals/trees after all the bears/redwoods were gone), so all life would eventually die out because of the Contra movie.

Banjo rocks my socks off.

Plus, it's good to seethat Rare went with Banjo instead of Conker (not that i wouldn't love a new Conker) because it goes against the stereotype that all Xbox360 owners want is violence, gore, and bloodshed, you know?  Anywho, it's been a long time since a really good platformer came out, so count me in.

If I remember the original correctly (b&w?) Dead Rising is definatly much closer to Dawn of the Dead 2004 than the original, whether they intended it or not. The mall is almost identical in layout and use. Even some of the characters can be compared in movie and game. A few shots at the beginning of the movie really reminded me of the game as well.[?QUOTE}

the original was in color, you're thinking of night of the living dead, that was black and white.

[QUOTE=tkemory"]I actually liked the 2004 remake, the thing i found a little different is the speed in which the zombies could move. Every zombie flick I have seen, included the game in question, zombies are sloooooow. Begining of the 2004 remake zombies were hauling butt. The only thing I didnt like was they dont really explain where the zombies came from, or maybe they did, I will re-watch to make sure I didnt just miss it.

i am a hardcore zombie fan, and i actually liked the remake more than the original.  i found it to be a lot more fun to watch.  and yeah, there was a slight (ie: huge) difference in the speed that zombies moved.  but old zombies moved slow for a reason.  they were pretty harmless by themselves, it was a power in numbers kind of idea.

and they don't explain where the zombies come from in the remake, because they remade the second move, not the first (night of the living dead).  but the 2004 wasn't about messages or explaining anything, it was about fun, and hot damn was it fun.
