1 reason why the wallpapers are good is that they are of old games and they are simply awesome

[QUOTE="megamatics"] U cant have an Ip of 102.x.x.x on your network because u require the first 3 numbers in your ip to be 192.168.1.X macabre_one

That's actually just a typo, i was entering 192

I'm just concerned that there could be something wrong with the slim itself, because i know the cable works, and none of the configurations i'm trying will get the PS2 online.

Run the hardware test and see if it identifies the hardware then download this freeware

I actually did a presentation comapring Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, and Blu-Ray has really been falling flat as of late (In comparison to HD-DVD). It's twice the price for a standalone player, and as of now, HD-DVD has more movies and is ironically using more space.Headbanger88
a presentation on the 2 formats thats awesome ill never get to do that in my school and its a school for technology . but ur statements about blu-ray also support its likely ness to go the way of beta max machines which was the alternate to a VCR which many havent heard of because no one talks about beta max anymore, and to tell you the truth the way beta max was built it was 10 times better then a VCR clearer images better sound and VHS tapes were horrid loking compared to beta max but the cost of a beta max machine was like $3000 i think and a VCR was much less also i think their was another kind of standard other then a Compact Disk forgot the name all i know is that one of those rappers Lil something, some name I dont know owned one.

Heres what i know about Blu-ray first of all Blu-ray drives alone cost 1000-1500 american and on the plus side can hold an entire series of shows on the with their 250 GB discs while HD-DVD drives cost 500- 1000 american and can hold less but still give u the space needed for an entire 3 seasons of a TV series. Blu ray is better but Beta max was better then cassette. i for one would pounce upon the chance to bet a blu-ray drive for my PC if i had the Money but i would also think as too the actuall disks used would cost around 100- 200 american which is completely astounding but an HD-DVD disk would probably cost 50 and up with about 70 GB at most in each disk which is still very good but as quality goes i would side with the Blu- ray but they are getting the Bugs worked out with HD-DVD.  PPL have been speculating that Blu-Ray will win the batlle against HD-DVD but we shall see this is also a battle between SONY and Microsoft because the PS3 has a blu-Ray and the XBOX 360 will have the HD-DVD drive as an acssesory to be plugged into the Universal serial bus 2.0 of the Xbox 360

Well, first you need a PlayStation Network Access Disc from Sony. Register on www.ps2registration.com , after filling up all of your console details, you'll have to wait for awhile for the disc to come to you. Follow the instructions in the disc on setting up a connection...

And you'll be online on the PS2 in no time!

not necesarrily some games have options that will also create a network config for u such as Smackdown Vs Raw 2006
