@Millard11 @megatronx2 Yes I'm defending Nintendo, because all games i have played from them, weather 1st, 2nd or published by them were high quality polished experiences that I had blast with. Don't make any mistake - just because it's a 2nd party or game published by them, nintendo has final say in all aspects of the games.

For starters I will go with Skyward Sword's 1:1 sword controls. It was incredible experience, one of it's kind. Nothing like that before and nothing since.

Mario Galxy. Even thought this game was too simple for me, i cant recollect any game that would play with gravity in any way this game did. Loads of platform games have started copying and playing around with its idea.

The game I fell in love with and found extremely refreshing was Xenoblade. Brilliant first party game and innovative jrpg.

And what do you mean about DK? there was really good DK platformer released recently.

And technology wise, motion controls were innovative same goes for gamepad. Yes it's a follow up to ds, which was based on their own game&watch products from the 80's. Miiverse, even thought it's not my things it's innovative service in the console space, how it tides with games. Weather people like those innovations or not or not it's a different thing. Also 360 controller layout is mapped to gamecube controller.

For me online isnever a system seller but i can understand that for some is. I love great single player experiences. But i do play online too ( quake, diablo, starcraft and now sc2 beta, mmo's, blacklight retribution) and I enjoy them a lot. N has now exceeded what ps3 and 360 offered in online space, and now move belongs to ms and sony to top that. Maybe they will or maybe don't. We will see.

And I think WU didn't hit the predicted numbers, because people who are interested in it are either waiting for more games ( me ) or don't have spare money ( me ). The console sold pretty well overall.

ps. Btw. is that protos image in your avatar. Maybe you would like to discuss our differences playing sc2 beta? ;) Or alternatively we can have a game of chess.

@MotRFalcon @zequex Also what about mario galaxy's creazy gravity ? since then 50% of indie developers are playing with that idea.

RIGHT, question to all of those attacking Nintendo: how you would describe "innovation" and how you would go about "innovating" games if you would have unlimited resources?

Bungie left Microsoft because their contract expired and they didn't extend it.

MS gave them loads of cash while they ware there.

The only game before halo was ONI. I liked it a lot back in the day. Halo not so much.

MS killed RARE, one of the best devs of the 90's

@Celsius765 @notlukesfather @IanNottinghamX Games are not for story. Most games have poor stories. Games are about gameplay with a story that compliments it and not other way around. They release a lot of rpg. You have big stories in there.
