###@Zorlac: I have the entire months data as well as the data from black Friday of last year to back me up, you, you have your opinion. Also, there is a wonderful article that came out a few hours ago about how the PS4 outsold the One on Friday showing a list of the stores with the most sales from that day. Best Buys top item was the PS4 Uncharted bundle for $299 for dollar sales and the Amazon Fire 7in for unit sales.
@Zorlac: And what you are talking about has nothing to do with every Best Buy, just a few. Company wide it did not do well and only the stores that had a few bundles sold out.
Also, you have no data at all on why the people bought those bundles. They could have bought them to get the TV and then Ebay the console so they would have a TV for next to nothing. Looks like you are just a butthurt fanboy.
@Zorlac: Don't give me none of your BS, sales for that month are there for everyone to see and they were not high and the PS4 did outsell the One nearly 2 to 1 during that time.
Just because you are a fan of a console, does not change historical facts that are against it.
@Zorlac: giving away a system for free isn't a sale. and it also didn't work last year when best buy did this. they barely moved any systems at all and Sony still outsold the One near 2 to 1 during that time.
@lrdfancypants: Yeah, its pretty insane alright. How gamers think bundles matter and buy according to that instead of by which console is better. At least the majority of the world doesn't do that which is why the PS4 continues to outsell the One almost 2 to 1 lol...over 30 million sold already while MSFT turns to only releasing Xbox Live account numbers which include 360 accounts.
@thisistheslam: It's a weak case. Price doesn't matter, that was proven by Sony continually outselling the One with its lower price point. Your 3 major exclusives are in name only. Forza and Halo haven't been good in a long time. Fable Legends has little hype with many people question its development choices. Backwards compatibility is a gimmick, even Sony fans don't care about being able to play PS2 games on the PS4. New interface does nothing for the games and DX12 has been proven to be not even close to the bump MSFT claimed it would be so the One will still struggle with resolution and framerates. It doesn't have as many games announced for it as the PS4.
So, looks like the only argument that can be put forth that the XB1 will win over the PS4 is in non game related apps...wow...the rally that MSFT pulled for this console is non-existent (as sales have shown) and Phill Spencer is just a guy that is a better liar than the last one because he does it with a smile.
No more sales announcements, no more pushing for 3rd party exclusives. That's progress!
@golden1elite: Yep, Sony fans are very angry that their system topped 30 million in sales this month ensuring the future of the console is going to be better than the XOs due to game companies wanting to be on the console that will sell more copies of their games.
The very reason why MSFT announced a few months ago that it will no longer focus on gaining 3rd party exclusives due to the expense is that MSFT would have to pay a company far more than Sony to get a company to release only on their system.
You think people that know nothing about games are going to be won over by "You can remap your controller buttons" and "you can play old 360 games on it"...Sure, they will believe the lie of more and better exclusives because they don't know any better, but the rest is meaningless to them, just like with enthusiasts.
