Umm ok. Going to go to a store to buy hardware, sure...but digital software? No way. Go to a store and give money and receive nothing but a code to use at home when I can do just that already and not leave it.
@toophat2014: ESO and SWTOR are garbage MMOs. Neverwinter releases more content than both of them combined and has more players to boot...and I am not a fan of Neverwinter.
So, thanks for the very long post basically re-stating what I said. ESO is releasing a pint-sized "expansion" like SRPGs receive and not like what MMOs receive.
@super6646: You know shizall about fizall, you are the kind of consumer MSFT loves...easy to deceive. I mean, anyone that doesn't know that companies constantly cook the books in dozens of ways are just plain...stupid.
@super6646: Go read up on how the data is collected, not one company says HOW they collect the data and the data is always different, sometimes VASTLY different from other sources in the same field.
Two weeks ago Wikimedia had Windows 10 at 2.97% market share and Net Applications had it at 1.5%...only StatCounter and NetMarketShare had it at 5% or higher...and there are a DOZEN companies that release market share information.
Even the biggest, Gartner, did not list it at over 5%.
The media is running with these numbers, because they are the highest being reported and it is what MSFT is paying them to report on.
@Mogan: You do which is why you replied...or are you saying you are such a loser you take time to reply to things that mean nothing. Yeah, you are THAT stupid.
@Mogan: doesn't matter because the numbers are fluffed. MSFT is including all downloads as installs and one of their shadow updates downloads the OS in chunks to people that didn't even want it.
@rolento25: He said UPGRADE...but we thank you for your typical reply that indicates since one device that is not a desktop PC does something it means it should also happen on a desktop.
Those are bogus numbers. MSFT is including all DOWNLOADS as installs. All net reports show that Windows 10 still has a much lower share than Windows 8 AND Windows 8.1 and place it at around 30-35 million devices as of 10 days ago.
MSFT released a shadow update that auto downloads Windows 10 in chunks even when people didn't ask for it.
