@Naylord Its really never too late, and some can use it if they somehow have to be offline for a while like going overseas/army. Or simply because you just don't want to be online.

Achievements are irrelevant for most of the older gamers, since we grew up without them being there, and we played 4 coop multiplayer diablo in 1996, so nothing new here,

@grognard While I'm with you about the need for new hardware, I difer about the new IP's, companies (not developers really), want a safe, recurrent and progressively rentable IP, so they will never allow risk on a new IP with the amounts of money they did in the past.

Example; Ico was released in the first years of the PS2, Shadow of the Colossus (same studio), was released at the end, both different from one another, didn't require a new system to be top notch.

Wich studio is doing that now?, none, cos that's a risk they don't wish to take..........in an industry where you are supposed to take risks, even if you don't succed.

We need people like that guy that did Super Metroid and the game boy, not a bunch of suit dressed misses who don't want to lose money in this risky industry. (Risky if your quality is not top of the line, because with polish, then you get to have a gem worth selling).

I couln't care less about releases on both xbox and ps3, there's nothing new, all years the same games about the same stuff...why?, because those "developers" thought that DLC and "casual gaming" tactics would payoff forever.

Guess what?, "casual gamers" were that "casual" that they don't pay or play anymore, and we the "hardcore" pc, xbox, ps3 players got tired of the EXTREME casualness of games, that's why Skyrim still sells, because is the closest thing to old PC gaming with mods and low DRM above all (not thanks to DLC).

So go on, about how wonderful another COD XXV is, the fact is that if these guys don't find or do anything new with games, the money will stop going into their bank account.

JUST LOOK AT THAT LIST OF GAMES!!!! the only game worth a dime there is the witcher 2, and its an old game on pc.....sad times, I'll jus play diablo 3 until these guys get it thogether....

.....modern warfare 3....I played something like it in 2007, I'm REALLY tired of that now.
