Probably PGR4, But GTR2 maxed out with 60 something cars on track is a hell of alot more hardware intensive.

Technically it cant compare to Crysis, but they are still very impressive and set in a more interesting environment then Crysis, Ever since i herd about Chernobyl i thought it would be cool to have a game set there.

its a shame, when you play the game from the correct viewing perspective to drive it looks nothing like that :roll:toxicmog

Probably because AA, AF and possibly even motion blur is added during replays, makes the game look alot more smooth and realistic.

[QUOTE="killzowned24"]

[QUOTE="acekall"]with racing like that you wont win a race :?acekall

its really the only way to do good on certain map or you will be owned.

I just cant believe that, Im not a race pro, but I'd think drifting would make you slower.

It does, Drifting isn't racing, taking the racing line around a corner is alot faster than drifting, no matter what the track, anyway about the Video, the car models look great, and they really nailed the lighting.

If it's garbage, why do we always get the most AAA/AA titles? Does that make consoles sewage?br0kenrabbit

No, it makes TC an idiot, that's it.

[QUOTE="mingo123"]motion blur makes this game look good + by the time this game is released it will be outdated lol like Stalker...it took ages to releaseDragonfireXZ95

you thought Stalker looked out dated? i hope you don't play console games then.

In some ways Stalker does look outdated, actually. The atmosphere and some of the lighting effects are fantastic but, the textures are not that crisp, especially the guns, and some of the animations are wonky. And I play on consoles, seeing as my computer isn't powerful enough to be my main platform, so yes I can say this with confidence.

Outdated textures? Lolz WTF??

When you're underground, the textures look pretty amazing. Although I will say that up top when you're by the towns the textures aren't the greatest, but they are still good.

But a simple graphical overhaul mod fixes that problem.

No they are still good, if i still had the game installed (re-installed windows today) i would take some pics, the texture quality on the buildings, roads, trees, ect are still very good. Iv actually found that i don't really like any of the graphical mods, adding motion blur to the game game is the only way in which i modify the graphics and it makes the game look alot more realistic.

I think it needs its bugs and uncompletable quests to be fixed and polished, but the graphics and atmosphere need to stay gritty and unpolished, if you know what I mean. I'd also like the story to be delivered in more cutscenes like Crysis, instead of having to read your notes so much. Graphics look excellent though. Honestly I think the original Stalker is very beautiful graphically and highly underrated. Stalker Clear Skies will be fps of the year I reckon.screamingdoom

The way the story was told was to help keep the atmosphere. i think it should stay that way. I agree with your comment on S:SoC being underrated graphically.
