[QUOTE="dipper145"]Although it is time but I mean most of the effects of time happen over a very long period of time. Which won't happen during an 8 hour game, unless its just 8 hours spent watching paint dry.LibertySaintin our time or game time? time is a matter of how it is precieved, so in a game 2 days game time could be 2 minutes in our time.
But seriously it wont come in handy in many situations, a lot of the demos of "4D" or dynamically generated textures (whatever you wonna call it..) take place in the time period of years, unless there are games that you can maybe speed up time really fast or things like that it seems like a waste of processing power to me, even if like you said 2 minutes realtime might = 2 hours game time there still wont be huge differences in the environments. For most games all that would be needed is the old way of loading new geometry and textures when you enter a new location that you haven't being to in maybe 2 years game time, like what fable 2 is supposed to have and many other games.
