Lol, anyway i agree with TC, I also just got into PC gaming and since then i have hardly played my console, im still going to use it for upcoming 360 games but there is no denying that a gaming pc is superior to consoles. Iv also got almost the exact same pc as itsme but mines better......

why do u need to install it?

RAM isn't an issue (I have 4GB, 24% memory usage). I just like to get the most out of my system. :PBlueBirdTS

DDR=Double Data Rate, its giving you that frequency because that what it runs at, but its effective frequency is 800mhz because its DDR so you double it because data can be sent and received every clock cycle. And about the ram slots, just look on your mobo manual, its really simple and should make sense straight away, it says slots 1 and 2 because you would have the ram installed in slots a1 and a2, or b1 and b2, the ram slots are set up in two groups of two, in the first group has slots a1 and b1, in the second a2 and b2, does it make sense now?
