Well, if you like "redone side scrollers", then Muramasa is the perfect Vita game for you.

Also, you might be interested in a new game called Dragon's Crown.

As for RPGs, I agree that things could be better. Japanese developers are finally starting to deliver, but very few of them will be actually translated in English.

I can afford to purchase any vita/3ds game I want.  The problem is the time and the fun factor. Where are all these fun vita games, please point them out to me.  Something that is easy to pick up and play, and not a turn based rpg.

Perhaps you already know it, but if you don't, consider having a try at "Virtue Last Reward".

It's narrative heavy and puzzle driven, but definitely not a turn based RPG. An hallucinating atmosphere with an easy to grasp gameplay.

The game Shahid was referring to last week was Freedom Wars.

Shahid loves to make flamboyant announcements...

Perhaps DOZENS of games are really coming, but not everyone of them will be an AAA game involving a famous franchise and a major software house. I think that, to reach the "DOZENS" quantity, lots of new indie games will have to be accounted for.

About the Type-0 thing, I don't know, but I'm skeptical.

Square-Enix could have trademarked the name for any reason, including, say, any little social game for iOS that takes place in the Type-0 universe.

That said, if I turn out to be wrong, I'll be very happy. ;)

It's probably going to be an excellent game, but it's not my kind of game.

So I been browsing through the release date and I been dieing to buy one again. Yea I was one of those guys that bought the system on day one and ended up selling it due to lack of content and still up to today I still don't see anything that interested me except for the upcoming Ys rpg. I really want a white edition but I'm afraid it's going to sit on the shelf collecting dust again. Are there any hot titles that you guys know of that are coming out by the end of 2013?

"Hot title" can be a misleading term. It depends on what's "hot" for you.

I suggest to check on play-asia, it's easy and the list is usually accurate, encompassing Japanese, American, European and Asian future releases, usually with both date and price.

Welcome to the party!

Anyway, I disagree with the "dying system" vision. It's a niche system, far from the desires of average consumers, that's all... ;)

Also, for esclusive games, I suggest having a look at the Japanese software market. There are some games (Monster Monpiece, Senran Kagura, ...) that don't really need Japanese fluency to be enjoyed.

As for me, lately I've been playing Uncharted: Fight for Fortune a lot with my "friends" around the world. It's a neat card strategy game, featuring Uncharted charachters. For 4 euros, I couldn't go wrong.

UC doesn't live up to the big brother on ps3

blaznwiipspman1

Well, for me it's exactly the opposite.

...Even though I can somewhat agree about Persona 4.

In the end, Vita is more and more shaping up as a "niche handheld for gamers", so perhaps it's not the right machine for you. The 3DS will satisfy you more.

Nope. Sony is being very careful about not letting it happen, this time.

Out in 2014, formerly known as "Panopticon".

Western localization to be expected.

Just a Monster Hunter sci-fi clone or more?...
