Hate to say it, but you really need to have at least some basic japanese reading ability to get the most out of a Vita atm (luckily i do heh). There's some nice import games which are unlikely to be ported to NA/europe. The library of games available for sale NA atm is like less than half of that in japan.

If you can't read japanese, you can probably still play something like Project Diva f at least, which i highly recommend.

I'd love to see some reviews of them.

I'm curious about Monster Monpiece and Demon Gaze, expecially.

It really goes according to personal tastes, here, but, in my opinion:

Final Fantasy Crisis Core: you can't go wrong with this.

Star Ocean, both of them: I found those really boring and repetitive.

Valkyria Cronicles 2 was the big surprise for me, to the point that I even bought the first game for PS3. Not sure it's really an RPG, but it's excellent. Pehaps it takes some time to get interesting, you must be patient.

God Eater (burst or not): big disappointment, very childish atmosphere, weak plot. Perhaps it's to be played in collaborative mode to fully enjoy. Not really an RPG. But I know people who went crazy for it...

Ys Seven: very good, an action RPG with speed and muscles and a nice story.

Last Ranker: excellent, but you must know some Japanese.

As for the many other RPGs with a typical, classic turn based combat, I don't love them, not my genere.

[QUOTE="StaticOnTV"] This will be the first of the many games that the Vita will use to fly off the shelves soon.

If you think so, I forsee you are going to be disappointed. Although in HD, this is an old game. Kojima fans already got it and finished it. Every HD revivial was a poor seller, and I think Peace Walker for Vita will be, too. The Vita won't run off the shelves for this. A brand new Metal Gear Solid game for Vita, on the other hand...

I think that, for a person who plans to use PS+ and go (almost) all digital a 16 Mb card would be necessary. And those are insanely priced!...

How can 3 First person shooter flop in a rowMegavideogamer
Nice question. Perhaps it was a mix of impossible deadlines from Sony + low resources investment by the developers, afraid to waste time and money for low selling titles. Maybe Killzone will set things right.

Personally, it was MGS: Peace Walker that made me buy the PSP. Then, I discovered it had other very good games. Then.
