yes noted but sony does make new versions of the psp just like mobile developers, so the question now is when is the next version of psvita set to come out. I dont wanna pay $300 then 2 months later a new one... secondly Ive seen all the games and only a handful actually apeal to me. and Ive never been a sony fan so their exclusives dont really matter to me much :/......BUT! what i dont know is how large is the playstation network on the ps vita like how many titles are there to choose from and are there old ones from PS1?.. I did enjoy the oldies. sorry I know these are probably stupid questions but Ive had an xbox and xbox 360 since release. Ive never touched any of sonys consoles.VicariousWolf88

Well, I think that it's time for you to taste something different than microsoft... ;)

Nobody knows when the next Vita model will come out, but I'd say 2015. Perhaps you are to be more concerned about when the next Vita price slash is going to happen. This is another mistery, but I'd say either E3 or September, when Killzone comes out.

The Vita can play both PSP games and PSOne games, both downloadable from PSN. There are lots of classics at a bargain price, including Crash Bandicot, Tekken, the obvious Japanese RPGs and so on...

Anyway, I think that, with time, you'll discover what the Vita is all about, thanks to its original games like Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush or enhanced revivals like Persona 4 Golden.

Dragon's crown and Muramasa are the only ones I am interested in this year. voljin1987

Same for me.

The only big surprises, for me, could be the transalation of Phantasy Star Online 2, or that misteryous Panoptikon...

C'mon guys, what about Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown and a ton of great indies. Maybe you think the Vita has no games, or maybe you're not really looking.

The_Golden_Age-
Those are going to be beautiful games, for the people who appreciate them, and we truly have to thank small companies like Aksys, XSeed and the indie people for that... But they are hardly the broad audience system sellers that most of the buyers are waiting for.

I should get a dollar every time someone makes a thread like this. I'd have many dollars.ItsEvolution

As long as Sony markets the Vita so poorly in the West, you'll make even more dollars...  ;)

As to what Shotty asked, we'll see what E3 brings. Until then, unless you know a little Japanese and want to import, the games are what they are. Plus, this fall, perhaps Killzone and Tearaway.

In Japan the Vita is not a major success, sure, but at least Sony is fighting and good games are coming out.

Well, at this point, I hope Sony will provide the Vita with multiple account management, PS3 style.

Actually, it's not as simple as that. The games only copy if they're connected to the account on the Vita. If you want to transfer another account's games, you'll have to do a factory restore and change accounts. It's not all that bad if you use the backup/restore feature, but it does involve waiting a good 30-50 minutes to do a backup every time you switch.Granpire

What if I have got two different Vita memory cards, one for each account?

Would it make switching faster?

I love my Vita.

It's the best gaming machine I ever owned.

Now, to make me keep loving it for years and years, the simplest thing would be going the same path as the PSP, with beautiful games like Peace Walker,  Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Ac!d, ... And new, innovative games, like Dissidia was, at that time...

It's coming out later this summer, I guess. And for both PSP and PSVita, so it will be a chance to assess the "liveliness" of the Sony handhelds in respect to eachother.

But, as usual, an English version is not confirmed... :(
