No demo for this game. They didn't need to make a demo to get people to buy this game by the droves! Vegetaxxssj4Too true. This game is the reason I got a DS
[QUOTE="rohver"][QUOTE="BenderUnit22"]Brother from FFX-2BenderUnit22What ?! I kinda liked him. Just how was he annoying ? Whenever he opened his mouth I wanted to smack that guy Me too. Why he annoyed me: He treated Yuna like she was his girlfriend. The truth couldn't be further from that. And secondly they were first cousins for cryng out loud. At least I think they were. EDIT: Kefka's laugh annoyed the hell out of me too.
[QUOTE="pumpkin_king12"]Just keep in mind that if you get dawn of souls ff1 is good but ff2 is terrible.Bullet_HolesAw. I watched the video review and it said 2 had the different level system. Is this the reason. Is the level system in 4-6 like it was in 1? 2 was interesting(not really) in this respect. You level up your weapoms and armour. Your character gets leveled up once in a while. So it's important that you pick a single weapon for each of your characters and stick with it. [QUOTE=Bullet_Holes][QUOTE=Im just gonna go ahead and get IV, and move my way up from there. Sounds like a plan to me. BTW, go to square-enix's website and look this game up. I read that after you win the game, a 50 level dungeon becomes available.
[QUOTE="SoulSlayer_"]Why not FFI&II Dawn of Souls? It's even cheaper, it's 2 games in one, and what better way to start a series then with the first game? But yeah, FFIV is fine to start with. Personally, I think FFIV has the best story and FFV the best gameplay. I'm not a big fan of FFVI.Bullet_HolesOh wow. I didn't even realize those were on the GBA. Should I get Dawn of Souls, 4, 5, or 6 to start? Me, being the waffler that I am would go and say why not get them all? I did. :D
Well, you'd obviously be spending a lot more money on a PC, and the PC would only last a good 2 years if it was the top of the line video card and cpu. And then not many games will come out on PC that will make use of your video card. Sure there are games like Crysis, but those are like once every 2 to 3 years with horrible delays. Otherwise you get so so games in between. All of that and as a sales guy one time said to me, with a console the software you buy for it is guaranteed to work. And if you go with with a pc, make sure Vista is preloaded.
While this new generation of consoles will get tons of game that all try to take full advantage of the system. You can also choose to rent games instead of buy to save money. Maybe you should get a really nice PC without a fancy video card that normally would have cost you $500, and get a PS3 instead. So you have a new computer and then you have a PS3 for gaming that will last much longer, plus a blu-ray player.
Believe me. I tried to get into computer gaming. And all the cool games that have the best graphics or triple A titles are very few. Half Life 2 delayed a full year. Doom 3 was supposed to run on a Geforce 3, but surprise surprise, delay delay, you ended up needing a video card 2 to 3 generations after that. But due to the new consoles there have been a rush of new games that push graphics more on the PC thanks to porting, like soon it wie'll have Gears of War on the list, and more. But each time a game comes out that really pushes your PC it's so far apart your video card is already out of date. It's like buy a $400 video card, then next year sell it for half and buy a new one, over and over to keep up.
