1. My TV will only take Version 1.3 or better. So you should look out for the version. Your TV's owner manual will tell you which. 2. I also looked out for cable "thickness". I went for 24AWG. I picked it up at Monoprice for $10. 3. I played KOTOR2, which I really couldn't believe the picture on it. It was a thing of beauty. Oblivion looked great. Conclusion: Don't spend a heck of a lot of money on this cableANY HDMI cable will work for the XBOX 360. Whether it's a cheap 4 dollar cable, or a 100 dollar cable, they all work exactly the same.
I recommend getting the 1.3 Version HDMI cables, which is what most are nowadays anyways.

Me too. but it took some getting use to. Didn't like it at first. But after adding a party, and figuring out gambits, I loved it ever sinceI think 12 is the best, but i really enjoyed them all

It's a show on G4. I do have VII, and I really like it, but no more or less then any of the other Final Fantasy games.while im not sure what X-play is (is it a TV channel, sorry but it must be a US only thing), but FF7 is awesome in my opinion.
I respect anyone who disagrees with me but I think its the best Final Fantasy (and ive played all of the main ones, other then 11)

That is coming later on in the form of a Denon stereo. 4 HDMI in. As a follow to this, the situation has presented itself where I had just ordered 2 HDMI cables, the the dvi to vga cable and 3.5 mm jack cable from Monoprice. Can't wait to hook things up now.Your best bet is the get a dvi-hdmi cable and a HDMI switch box. hdmi/dvi uses a digital signal so you shouldn't see any degradation. If you use component inputs for your computer your video is going to be horrific in comparison. There are some really good switchboxes out these days.

[QUOTE="mike7677"]The only problem I have on this set is that I have only 3 HDMI ins. To those I intend to put in a cable box, a PS3 and a XBOX360. I have 2 component videos left and a VGA jack as well. Now later, when I get a reciever that will have 4 HDMIs in, that will solve that problem. I can then connect my computer by way of DVI to HDMI. But this is the situation as it stands right now.-GeordiLaForge-Did your video card come with an s-video 2 component adapter for HD output? nVidia cards have had that feature for atleast 5 years...
I have a ATI Radeon 9600 card. It has 2 DVI outs.
I was amazed when I found this at Monoprice
The thing about this TV, it has specialized settings for PCs using this connection.
I think I'm starting to see which way to go.
What do you think would give you better resolution?
Here's my situation: I am buying a cable next month(Monoprice, of course) and I have a couple of choices.
I intend toplugmy computer into my Samsung TV. I saw at monoprice a cable that will go from dvi to vga. I also saw another cable that will go from dvi to component.
Which one is better?
