Consoles have had last gen graphics compared with PC forever and they're doing fine, so as long as the Switch is able to offer good games along with portability, it should be ok.

As a PC gamer, it's the only console that has me interested because it will provide a different way to play (on the go) as well as a robust library of games that can't be found on PC. Can't say the same thing about Xbone or PS4, which only look like shitty PCs with too few interesting exclusives to me.

I think Cyberpunk 2077 will be the ultimate test for CD Projekt Red. They've made a great use of their source material with the Witcher novels; if they can pull off another masterpiece in a completely different setting, they will stand high above all the others.

I'm as hyped as I can be.

Switch can't (and doesn't want to) compete with smartphones. Everyone has a smartphone anyway so the Switch will only appeal to people who want actual good games both on the go and on TV.

For people like me, a smartphone is for many things (phone calls obviously, pocket-internet, calendar/agenda) but certainly not for gaming. I find mobile games terrible in general, the screen too small and forced touch controls too limiting.

Ps4 pro and Scorpio are irrelevant to me, since I already have a gaming PC and don't need either would-be PCs. The Switch on the other hand seems quite interesting given my life style, and the fact that I like Nintendo's first party games.

Had a great time with Xcom 2 (got it at launch on PC, and barely encountered any technical issue beyond some low framerates in the very last mission), will soon dive into Civ VI.

I see more Xbox or PS-only gamers bragging/fighting about their respective consoles' abilities. This is the thing though : when a console gamer claims bs about "graphics king" or such, he's being ridiculous. When a PC gamer does the exact same thing, he's being right. Arrogance isn't particularly praise-worthy, but being arrogant when you have nothing to brag about in the first place is far worse.

Bought exactly zero copies of GTA V. And will buy the exact same amount of copies of RDR. There are already more good games releasing every year on PC than I can play (Civ VI gonna steal my gaming time for the next few months...), so I have no reason to give any money to devs who don't care about the platform that is by far the best one to game on.
