@archangel_600 @mlavinder @combigotes It had a note in parentheses. They burried it and then announced you could play used games so no one noticed it. :)
Could care less. I'll gladly pay $60 a year to play on line and for free games if I don't have to deal with all the Xbox One DRM.
@DoublesWorld I know. If you're take away from this event was paying for multiplayer your a sad person. I can't believe they are not putting restrictions on the games. Way to stick up for the gamers and stick it to the publishers.
I cannot believe they have no restrictions. SO glad to be wrong and that I FINALLY know which console I am getting. Don't even own a PS3, but I NOW I will be buying a PS4.
The stupid thing is independent developers made the iPhone and iPad gaming what it is today. So let's just shut that creativity down on Xbox.
There's no circumstance where this decision is a good one. It's so stupid. So stupid, I'd be shocked if they don't reverse it. Keep in mind, a quasi start button will be in Windows 8 update, so Microsoft does change its mind.
Though it might take the PS4 having a thriving indie development community and huge indie titles for Microsoft to see the error of their ways, and by then, it will be too late.
@Cyberjin well snap. I hadn't seen the always on microphone thing.
But PS4 has not been confirmed region free, and there has to be a reason/hold-up for the lack of confirmation when PS3 already has it. So I stand by my statement on that one.
License and restrictions on outside US stuff is an assumption too. No word one way or another.
I sound like I am defending Microsoft, but I am just defending accuracy.
