killzone 2 realy look bad now compared to reach. A shame that a sandbox openworld game (reach) looks & play better than a tight corridor shooter (killzone 2). I know it'll be hard for cows to understand but the truth is that halo reach proves the 360 can outperform the ps3 in term of performance because there is no way the ps3 would have run a game like halo reach without tessellator,512mb shared ram & a 10mb embended DRAM.

Gears of War 3 will even raise the Reach bar.

OH YEAH!! M$ is finaly making us proud & proving that the 360 still has lots of juice to squeez. Halow reach owns this year & Gears of War 3 will own next year. ENSLAVED already shows that Unreal Engine 3 still has visual horsepower. Although its the multiplats thats will end this whole graphic war(CRYSIS 2 & RAGE).

Is it so hard to admit that the PS3 can produce better graphics than the 360 ? the 360 is a good console, it really is , but the PS3 can use tricks the 360 cannot, due to its architecture . The cell can do graphics, the processor of the 360 cannot . Halo Reach doesn't have better graphics than Uncharted2 . A 360 game will never have better graphics then Uncharted 2 . It's hard to face the truth ...

Poor try. All tricks used in killzone 2 can be done better on the 360. Every effect killzone 2 used has been done on the 360 e.g the post processing & volumentric particle effects & differed lighting effect were used in ALAN WAKE together with 4MSAA that was not present in killzone 2.So basicaly there is nothing special anymore about killzone 2. What i want you to understand that 360 has more effects that cant be done on the ps3 like the tessellator & huge scale rendering which is archieved with the exenos 512mb shared memory. Plus the the 10mb EDRAM which is missing in the ps3 helps in lot of work offload.

I know cows will never accept the truth but i've just proved my point with the almighty DIGITAL FOUNDRY tech analisys. Cows will keep on yelling killzone 2 looks better even though killzone 2 did nothing spectacular (just a linear corridor shooter). Halo reach has lots of unique effects especialy tesselation which must have made it possible render so many polygons in a single scene without severe performance hit. NOTE: the playstation 3 has no tessellator so it a safe to say that ps3 will break if it attempts runs a game like halo reach. Cows us to say that say 360 couldnt run killzone 2 because of its differed renderer.

Yes i've played killzone 2 & i did a direct comparison between reach & killzone 2 at home what i found out is that killzone 2 has some good effects (post processing effects,destructible enviroments & deffered lighting) but it has flaws like:
#1. lack of colours

#2. Tight linear corridor confined enviroments.

#3. less amount of enemies onscreen

#4. No split screen co-op campaign.

#5. low res enviromental textures.
COMPARED TO
Halo reach with
#1. 4 times lager enviromental scale than halo 3(despite how big halo 3 scale is).

#2. More than 40 dynamic smart AI on screen at once.

#3. More than 40 dynamic HDR light effect.

#4. Different colour array in background.

#4. Full 3d rendered epic skybox.

#5. 4 players split screen co-op campaign local & online.

So technicaly no game stresses a console as halo reach does.

The truth is that GG used tricks & shortcuts like limiting colours,limiting scales & AI on screen to archieve killzone 2 vissuals while bungie didnt sacrifice or use any form of trick such as limiting colours or limiting enviromental scales to archieve halo reach's visual.

Halo reach' sandbox large scale enviroment,huge amounts of smart AI on screen & finally meeting 720p hd & increased poly counts is a big K.O to killzone 2.

TRUTH is bitter.
