@andyvecc011: Pretty sure they learnt their lesson, my guess they'll wait for sony to go first this time then beat the PS4K by a little bit.

@curtisj2993: I though the X360 was heaps better than the PS3, especially with XBL.

@celeritasgamer1: I think MS are waiting for Sony to announce first this time, so the X1.5 can be ahead power wise. Just a guess but i think it will play out that way.

@heydink: The PS4K won't be $400, the AMD R9 290 isn't a cheap chip, this will be nearer the $600-700 mark

@abcdefgabcdefgz: Roughly double the GPU power, going from a AMD 7850 to a R9 290 is a big upgrade on PC. CPU and memory upgrade also add a nice boost.

@kkdrummer: If they release a new console (PS5) now then they destroy the PS4 lead they worked so hard to get. X1 and PS4 have simple architecture now, so backwards compatibility won't be an issue., so you could see annual upgrades where slowly older models get phased out, like with iPad, iPhone. Also this is one of the first times both consoles are making a profit on hardware, another reason the upgrade model is attractive to Sony and MS.

The PS4 and X1 are showing their age already, this is a good thing.

@silversix_: Pretty sure most X1 games are 900p or 1080p.......
