I played a lot of this on xbox. the gameplay was great - really involving and with a lot going on. But on the console, as every knows, it looked like something from the 1990's. it looked awful, and it never got any of the pc updates.
I'm really pleased they will be bringing out a new console version and will probably get it - after checking how it looks on Youtube of course. It's really easy to drop 50 or 100 hours into this game
It's weird what's happened to lego. I'm pretty old now, but had loads of lego when i was a kid. And every piece you had could be a part of anything; a train, a house, a car, a gun, etc. Now it seems that every piece can only go in a single position, nowhere else. Even if you bought 20 different lego sets, none of the parts are interchangeable.
They're more like (unbelievably expensive) jigsaws now; once you've built that single figure / completed that single picture on the box, all you can do with it is dismantle it and build the same thing / complete the same picture again.
I mean, this looks really nice (although I do like a "real" open world, not a pretend one) but and all the way through the clips I've watched I'm just think "Dying Light 2". I know they came from the same source, and Dying Light really built on what Dead Island had started - but surely, if you have DL2 you don't need DI2? Plus, you know, "open" world....
I hope this does really well, ofc, but because I have DL2 I probably won't get this.
Are they saying that's the only bit of Fallout 4 (or any of the Fallout games) that isn't true-to-life? That's like complaining that I didn't get tens of millions of £££ when I won a race in F1 2022. Or that I didn't get a leg blown off IRL when I played CoD.
Escapism.
I mean, immersion as much as possible sure, but still....escapism!
Please ignore my ignorance - but did the big Xbox Series X / PS5 update come out?
I tried this on my Xbox One and frankly, it wasn't great so shelved it until I go my Series X - then completed the game sometime earlier this year and really enjoyed it.
I saw there was "an" Xbox Series X / PS5 update that came out in February, but was that the one we were all waiting for? I thought it was supposed to come out early in 2023.
Are we waiting for any further New Gen enhancements apart from these regular updates / big fixes, etc?
