I really don't get this stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love space games and have already ploughed 400-odd hours into Elite Dangerous on the xbox, but I'd never pay large sums of real money on playing it, apart from the expansions, like Horizons, which are normally about £20. I mean, some of the ships you can fly in this "game" are £400!
To fly a particular ship in a video game that still has no release date! Even if it were out now, I'd never spend anything like that.
As I said, I love gaming as much as the next guy, and I'm in my 50's with disposable income, but I just do not get this.
This is a good tip; I thought I was generally on top of this and removed 2 duplicated games from one of my HD's only yesterday. I checked through just now and removed a further 8 games from one HD or the other using this One Guide Thing.
Pity this. I love ED on Xbox and was looking forward to getting back into it with Odyssey. Horizons made a huge difference to the game and I was expecting Odyssey to open up another whole load of new things to do...
The Quick Resume thing is incredible. I used to switch the One on, and it would take something like 2 minutes or so for me to be able to start playing a game, even if it was the most recent game I played. I timed the Series X the other day (after switching my tv on - which takes longer to boot up!) - and it took 7 seconds from when I hit the "home" button on my controller to when I was in AC Valhalla and moving Eivor around..
