Yes because the superior pc version with all those feature isn't? Don't forget console isn't the lead platform.

Priority was console, obviously. It will make multiple times revenue over PC on PS3 alone. LOL@ them optimizing for KB/M control btw, this means enough people played the first with those controls that they had to do this. Have fun with that online community hahaha.

Will there be a steam achievement for beating a boss with laptop controls? "Completed first boss with laptop, 12 hours 14min"

Console is priority, that's where the money is at.

Kojima said similar when MGS5 was announced. Nothing new.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain likely coming to PC but “not a priority,” says Hideo Kojima

Ouch. The story of Hermies' lives. Top tier devs treating Peasant Class system like the red headed step-child with Leprosy.

Ouch. Well, pc is used to playing third fiddle. They know the pc version is going to sell a fraction of what it sells on console, this just cements that.

I'm excited about playing the game with a real community. PC version should be called Dead Souls because the online will be a ghost town in comparison to console. Damn near impossible to even summon anybody in the PC version, even during a steam sale.

It's like hermies buy games on sale just to brag about their collection, but don't bother to play the games. It's probably just too hardcore for you guys, maybe you should stick to facebook farmer or whatever.

-sees DayZ as a "fundamentally flawed" concept. "It's not the perfect game," he said, "it's not the multiplayer experience, and it never can be, [with] the absolute spark that I want in it-

Bwahahaha. He puts out a fundamentally flawed product, with more bugs than you could count, and takes the money and runs. Hey, he's sticking around until the end of the year though lol...

Now you know why consoles have quality controls.

Pc gaming is a joke, that's why their games are rated on a lower standard.

"If our standard of comparison for PC games was "the console version," the PC version would get a higher score than the others over 90% of the time." Kevin V.

Such a joke that we have more high rated games than all systems. Higher standards. Best version of most multiplats, already best confirmed upcomming ones such as Thief4, Titanfall, Witcher3, and Watchdogs.

I don't know who that is. Standards are so high on pc that it takes months or years to pass console quality control, much less compete with console production values. Tons of bugs are standard on pc, like zombie mode on COD or something. PC gamers have learned to live with it, and wait for months for mods to at least fix the game breaking ones LOL!

@bobbetybob: how many years ago was that? A decade ago? Wow...pc gaming really has gone to shit.

No goty exclusive for an entire gen.

Keep on beggin'.

Pc gaming is a joke, that's why their games are rated on a lower standard. A game with no gameplay, tons of bugs, but an intriguing story gets an 8 on PC but won't even pass MS and Sony quality control to get on their system.

PC gamers resort to doing pointless streams on a decade old game because Rockstar hasn't given them a GTA5 port yet LOL.

i hate these survival games where there is literally zero content other than people griefing each other.

rust suffers from the exact same problem.

maybe one day these titles will get some substance and i will finally be interested in them.

maybe some objectives or a quest hub or something... anything other than scavenging for shyt and other people stealing it as 100% of the game.

I agree. Some people falsely believe that adding useless shit makes the game more "complex" instead of having proper missions or story or game design. These mods are role playing for people for bored people who obsess with shows like walking dead. The makers spend more time promising more shit that probably won't be added for years than they do fixing the countless bugs.

I don't think they fit well on console because of higher standards from console makers and players.
